I haven't slept a wink since we got back to Russia.
I watched her sleep all night and I'm still watching her. Her lips slightly parted and her cute round nose flaring once in a while as she snored slightly.
She was beautiful.
Beautiful and kind.
Kelsey struck something in me the minute I saw Luciano drag her down to the cellar while she cursed at him.
I was dumbfounded by how a beautiful thing could produce such foul words. She was way too good to be cursing like that.
My cold heart melted a bit when she shared her food with me but my walls came crashing down when she ripped her dress to keep me warm.
She deserved the world but all she ever got was pain. You could see it in her eyes.
She was broken and bruised. So young, so fragile and so innocent.
She needed help but instead she reached out to help me.
I'm not ashamed to say I fell deeply for her.
You might think I'm moving too fast but love has no timespan.
Her eyes started blinking, signalling she was waking up and I prepared myself for those vile words that'd greet me.
When her eyes opened and she saw my face she fucking screamed.
"I'm pretty sure I don't look that bad in the morning pretty girl." I chuckled at her and she started to back away swiftly.
Before I could warn her it was too late.
"Boom." She fell from the edge of the bed unto the floor with a loud thud.
She's so fucking cute.
"Fuuuck." She groaned in pain and I rushed over to assist her but I couldn't help but laugh when I found her rubbing her ass.
"Are you okay flower?" I asked while picking her up, she didn't refuse the help but slapped my hands away immediately after she found her balance.
Rude.
"Don't you fucking touch me you discharge demon. You fucking prick, you lied to me." She yelled in my face and I smirked at her.
"What did I lie about pretty?" I asked mischievously while taking a seat on the couch in the corner of my room.
It's funny how she was the first woman to ever sleep in my bed.
"You said your name was Matt you ass-wipe." She grumbled at me, pouting her sexy plump lips.
I couldn't wait to kiss those.
"My name is Matt dolly."
"No it's not. What do I look like, a dummy." She scoffed at me and I couldn't help but laugh. It felt like she was turning me into a sappybrain.
Whatever the fuck that is.
"My middle name is Matvy dear. Matt is short for Matvy. My full name is Vladimir Matvy Lenkov." I assured her. "So you see pretty baby, I didn't lie."
She folded her arms and narrowed her eyes at me. "Well you held a fucking gun to my head. There's no coming back from that."
I got stood up and started walking towards her. She backed away.
She's scared of me. I don't want her to be scared of me.
As I moved forward she moved backwards, until she fell back on the bed but she quickly sat up.
I stood before her, looking down into her enchanting brown eyes as I took notice of her trembling feature.
"Are you scared of me flower?" I asked as I caressed her cheek.
She pushed my hand away "Of course I'm scared of you. You held a gun to my head and threatened my friend. You tried to kill me."
My heart clenched as she yelled at me.
"Believe me flower, I couldn't kill you if I tried." I placed my hand on her cheek again.
So soft and warm.
"I don't believe you. You tried to kill my friend." She stated blankly looking at my bare chest.
"I would've killed your friend yes. And I still would've taken you even if you hadn't chosen to come. But I could never harm you." I admitted to her.
"I... I don't.." Before she could finish her sentence I cut her off.
"I know what you want princess. I see it in your eyes."
"And what exactly is that?" She asked, raising a brow at me.
"You're afraid to admit it but you want to be loved." I told her, I could read her like a book.
"You don't know anything about me." She tried moving but I blocked her way so she sat back down.
"I know that is exactly what you want. It's what your innocent little heart desires." I could see I was pushing a few buttons.
"I don't..." I cut her off again.
"Let me love you Kelsey." I trailed off and her breathing picked up.
I was dead serious.
"B...but I.." She stuttered and I placed a finger over her lip.
"Shhhh pretty baby. Let me love you ok. " She stared up at me with those angelic eyes but never dared to utter a word.
"I'm going to be honest with you flower. I've never loved a woman before and the love I have to give isn't the normal kind that normal people give to each other. I don't know that love but the one I know is the only one I have. And I want to give it to you pretty flower."
She stared up at me as I lowered my lips and kissed her forehead.
"Please Kelsey. Let me." I pleaded and she opened her mouth to say something but closed it.
"You don't have to give me an answer now but please. Let me hold you."
She nodded and I got down on my knees and hugged her waist.
She didn't hug back but I understood. She needed time.
I've never felt this contented ever in my life but I know sooner or later Luciano would come for her.
I know that man all too well and I've never seen him look at or be so possessive over a woman ever before. Never.
He threw her in s cellar instead of killing her like he would do the others. She cursed at him and lived.
He liked her.
But that's the difference between us.
He liked her but I loved her.
