A/N: So! A few things to say! Thank you for 500 reads, we're almost at 600 and I love every single one of y'all! There will be OC characters and then possibly more. This will be a Heather x Reader but I do have another idea so, I will be writing another chapter right after this as it was requested and please don't be scared to DM if you need someone to talk too or have any ideas. I love hearing ideas from other people and will always be open to anything. The place where Heather and the reader as well as OC characters will be at the opening task in Panic where it's like the huge cliff jump. So, I think that's all. ENJOY!

It's the start of summer and Heather and her friends have never been more excited for it in their life as Natalie did had the game coming up that she wanted to par-take in and was also just in general excited to hang out with friends and not have to worry about school as it was always on Heather's mind to do well so, she can get into the college that she has set out to go too as she was working really hard at her job as well to make a final payment toward the college.
Heather was waiting outside of her house as she was waiting on one of her best friends; Y/n L/n. She was new in town which shocked a lot of people as everyone had practically known everyone since birth and plus, although you could get a bus outta town and leave. This town didn't have much to offer which meant that the wages and payments you'd get wouldn't be that good and you would most likely struggle in wherever you go for the first few months.
But Y/n and Heather's first introduction was one for the books as they kept taking glances at each other, Y/n would defend her against Ray Hall who would always be an asshole to Bishop and always make Heather slightly uncomfortable with how close he'd try and get with her. She sort off just came the muscle of the group and quite protective but not to the point where it bothered Natalie or Bishop or Heather. They found it more enjoyable to see Ray get shut up as it seemed like they knew each other.
Heather's POV:
I'm waiting on Y/n L/n but I'm pretty sure she's running late as she was supposed to be here like 5 minutes ago, I wait for another minute or two and quickly see her car, I grin as my arms were crossed over my stomach, I'm wearing a blue bikini top with a flannel over it and blue jeans with white socks and white on white converse. She pulls over and leans on the window as it was down,
"Sorry for being late, Natalie didn't have any gas in her car." Y/n explains to me, I shake my head dismissing her being late and move around the front and get in the passenger's side as Natalie is in the back. "We also gotta pick up Bishop. Sorry, don't be mad?" She begs to which I laugh at.
"I'm not mad, just don't be late again, alright?" I tell her to which she nods her head at and smiles, I put my seatbelt on and close the door. She starts driving her way to Bishop's house as we were all in a comfortable silence.
"Okay, so... how're you two?" Natalie tries to move on from the awkward silence she thought, Y/n glances at her through the mirror and then looks at me, I smile at her and look at Natalie as Y/n focuses on driving.
"I'm alright, you?" I ask her, she shrugs letting out a small sigh.
"I don't know, my dad's bothering me again about how I can't play Panic, I swear it's not like there's certain people playing. Literally everyone plays." Natalie protests, Y/n scoffs at this answer.
"The only reason I'm playing is because I need the money to get out of this shithole but I'm bringing you two and Bishop with me." Y/n explains to Natalie, Natalie points at her nodding her head.
"See, this is why you're my friend." She exclaims in a 'point proven' tone, I snicker glancing at the two. "We all have the same reason to want to play. Why don't we just be a team?" Natalie asks her. Y/n shrugs.
"There's no team in Panic." Y/n tells her but then sighs. "But then again... who fucking cares, sure, why not." Y/n shrugs it off, I shake my head in disapproval at the two.
"What? It'll help us outta here." Natalie defends.
"I know but you two could get hurt and all your thinking about is the money and what you're going to be doing with it. Don't you think you guys should plan something out?" I suggest to which Y/n clicks her fingers then points her index finger at me,
"Yeah, we've already got that done, Heather. It's all in my mind." Y/n shrugs off, me and Natalie turn to her.
"Wait, really?" Me and Natalie say in sync,
"No, not one bit." She pauses as her and Natalie let out a laugh, I roll my eyes at their sibling-like behaviour. "But..." She drags on, "the game changes every year, apart from the last challenge, so! You always have to expect... the unexpected." Y/n explains to me and Natalie,
"That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard." Natalie bluntly replies before letting out a small laugh,
"Oh, whatever. You're lucky that I drove past your house. I can kick you out right now." Y/n playfully threatens.
"But would you? Nope!" Natalie exclaims,
The rest of the ride was silent and once we arrived at Bishop's he came in and immediately starts talking to me and Natalie but not Y/n as he seems mad at her for some reason. Weird.

We arrive at Pilot's Point and see Y/n's other friends; Matthew, Grace, Shawn and Dylan. We decide to place our stuff down at the Lookout and we set up the chairs and set the coolers down as well as the two bags of food that Y/n had in the back of her car and Grace brought another two bags filled with alcohol and Shawn brought a bag of snacks. We all sit down in a circle, it starts with Grace, Natalie, Matthew, Dylan, Bishop, then me, then Y/n, then Shawn. Y/n was right behind the cliff jump as all she needs to do is get up, take a few steps then she can jump off which worries me as it is quite a big drop.
"Okay, what're we starting with? Drinks or food?" Y/n asks everyone as she stands up holding the bags, Shawn snatches one of the drink bags.
"Drink for me." Shawn says with a wide grin, he grabs a beer can and then hands the bag over to Matthew as he had his hands open wanting a beer.
"W-Woah! Don't chuck the fucking bag." Matthew laughs out, I shake my head snickering at their dumbness, Y/n moves the rest down as people start grabbing random food but I stay in my seat not really wanting to eat. Y/n grabs something and hands it to me, I look at what it is to see my favourite snack bar.
"Hungry?" She asks me with a small grin on her face, I shake my head. "You okay?" She asks in a worried tone, I nod my head giving her a small smile.
"Y-Yeah. All good." I assure her even though I was lying, I might seem fine but I'm a little nervous as Grace and Y/n seem close... maybe a little too close. I mean I can't say that I'm jealous, I'm not. I just always thought that no matter what, me and Y/n would always be close but she just seems so interested in Grace and I hate it.
"Hey, Heather..." Bishop whispers, I lean over to him and nod my head. "you okay? You seem a little... off?" He asks me, I look at Y/n who was talking with Grace and then turn to him and nod my head.
"Not really." I whisper back, he moves his chair closer and places his arm around me,
"I'm sorry, you want to talk about it?" Bishop asks me.
Here's the thing, he doesn't know about my sexuality as I haven't come out, (I don't know why but whenever I see or think of Heather, I get bisexual vibes, lmk what y'all think. Anyway, back to the story) and I really want too tell him that I don't like him like that but then again, it could make Y/n jealous. But then I don't want them fighting and making it already more awkward than it already is...
"Heather?" Bishop asks me snapping me out of my thoughts, my focus goes back onto Bishop and I nod my head.
"Yeah?" I ask him confused.
"You spaced out, talk to me. What's wrong?" He asks me as he places a hand on my thigh, I giggle nervously and get up going over to Natalie, she sits up more and I grab her hand walking off with her.
"What's going on with her?" I hear Matthew ask turning to Y/n. She shrugs.
"I don't know." She tells him, "But let's not bother them. Anyway, as I was saying." Y/n continues on,
I take Natalie back to the cars as the whole way there was her asking what was going on and where they were going.
"I need help." I tell her pacing back and forth as we were out of hearing distance. She looks at me confused.
"Okay..." She drags on, "what about?" she asks me as her eyes follow my every pace back and forth.
"Bishop! He's like... putting his arm around me and placing his hand on my thigh but I don't like him like that." I explain to her, she sighs and looks down then back up at me.
"You still haven't came out to him?" Natalie asks and I shake my head. "Okay, well I'm not going to force you to come out, but maybe like... like... hint at him, you know? That you don't like him." Natalie explains to me, I look at her confused.
"Okay, but how?" I ask her confused.
"Ask Y/n. She's the (your sexuality) in this case. And a good flirt, maybe explain the situation and ask her to you know... flirt with you and shit." Natalie explains to me, I sarcastically laugh.
"You're funny if you think she'd do that." I tell her, I stop and rest my head on her shoulder as I let out a long groan in frustration, I cross my arms over my stomach and Natalie wraps her arms around me patting my back here and there.
"She would, Heather... she'd do anything for you." Natalie tells me sweetly, I move my head off of her shoulder and look at her smiling.
"Really?" I ask her, she nods her head.
"Yeah! If you want, I can ask her? I'm good at asking people for 'help'. Plus, it may get her to realise her feelings for you quicker." Natalie exclaims as she taps my shoulder excessively, I laugh and nudge her.
"Stop." I tell her as we walk back. I see Grace; Matthew, Shawn and Bishop all talking about something and as soon as Y/n sees me and Natalie, she gets up and walks over to us.
"Hey, you two okay?" She asks glancing between us, I nod my head.
"Y-Yeah... I'm going to get a drink..." I mumble and walk over to the bag, as I grab one and sit back down on my chair, I see Natalie telling Y/n about Bishop, she looks quite angry and hurt but once Natalie tells her to help me out, it was as if her whole world lit up. She smiles and nods her head, she turns around and sits down, she whispers in my ear.
"Just tell me what you're comfortable with and uncomfortable with, so, I know what not and what to do." Y/n explains to me, I tell her what I find comfortable and how I'm quite open to anything, she nods her head as she gives me a small smile which comforts me slightly as always.
"Is there anything you're uncomfortable with? I don't want too--"
"Hey, you never make me uncomfortable, okay? Let's just focus on you and stopping Moore from being an asshole." Y/n tells me, I laugh slightly and nod my head.
"Got it, boss." I tell her, we start to build a conversation until Grace shouts Y/n over, she turns to me,
"Come with me, I don't want you here alone." She tells me, I nod my head and we both get up and walk over to where Grace was standing. Y/n moves me in front of her and wraps her arms around my waist while resting her chin on my shoulder, I lean my body more into hers as it was quite comfortable.
"Yo! This looks fun, we gotta jump." Grace encourages Shawn and Dylan.
"What? No." Shawn disagrees.
"Oh, come on, Shawn." Dylan tries to encourage but Shawn shakes his head as he takes a puff of his vape pen,
"Not doing it." Shawn disagrees as he holds his breath for a few seconds after then releases the smoke into the air.
"Is that Mango?" Dylan asks Shawn, he nods his head and Dylan simply hums in delight. "I like that one." Dylan compliments as Shawn puts his hand up for a high five to which Dylan high fives.
"Okay, well, while you two lovers bond over that, me and Dylan are gonna jump." Grace says taking her t-shirt off showing her bikina top and tanned skin, I look at her slightly surprise and see Y/n just simply looking around not paying attention, I sigh in relief slightly as I place my hand on hers and trace random things on her skin.
"Wait, where's Bishop?" Y/n asks confused as she looks around,
"Right here." He says out of nowhere as he summons from behind us with Natalie and Matthew. He sees how me and Y/n are and looks at me confused, I look down and lean even more toward Y/n, she notices and gives me a small squeeze.
"It's alright, I've got you." Y/n whispers in my ear as she kisses the side of my head as her thumbs stroke my stomach lightly, I close my eyes as I squeeze my mouth shut, Natalie nudges me and shakes her head smiling, I nod my head lightly and look down as wherever Y/n touches seems to make my body feel on fire and burn up. I feel butterflies start flooding my stomach as well, I blush and continue to look at the ground as Grace takes her denim shorts off and chucks it over by her chair with her t-shirt, she takes her socks and shoes off as Matthew leaves to go get two towels for both Dylan and Grace. They both take a small breath, hold each other's hand and jump off while screaming and cheering, we all look and see them sink into the water then soon arise and swim over to crawl back up to where everyone else was.

It's been 4 hours and me and Y/n have mostly just been talking and hanging out, being flirty here and there, Y/n placing her arm around me as she would be on her phone and show me things that she's interested in, which was nice to hear her talk about as she sounds very passionate about what she likes. It's just nice to hear, honestly.
But...
Now it was just me and here, we were both sitting on the edge of the cliff, our feet dangling off and everyone was sitting down in their seats either drunk or high, well Y/n's friends were. Me; Natalie, Bishop and Y/n were all sober.
We were just sitting there enjoying each other's presence till Y/n spoke up,
"Do you like Bishop? Or is the reason Natalie asked me to help you out is because he likes you but you don't like him?" Y/n asks me, I nod my head.
"Yeah, I don't really like him... l-like that." I stutter out, she nods her head.
"How come?" She asks me as she sits with her legs crossed but up, her arms wrapping around her legs. I look at her confused and she lightly shrugs, "I mean if you don't like him, fine, just a little surprised, I guess..." she explains to me.
"How come?" I ask her, she shrugs.
"I don't know, I just--" She pauses and looks at me, "seems like your type. Like someone you'd like." She explains to me, I nod my head understandingly.
"I just... I don't get it." I tell her, she looks at me confused.
"Get what?" She asks.
"Falling in love. Or people liking other people... I mean it's not fun, especially when the person doesn't know you like them or if they do know but they don't have the same feelings. It's just... really fucking dumb." I explain to her, she smiles at me and nods her head as she moves her legs down and leans closer.
"Oh, yeah?" She asks me as she turns her whole body toward me, I look at how she's sitting then at her. I nod my head.
"Oh, yeah." I tell her, she smiles and nods her head slowly.
"I mean fair enough, not everyone can like love. But then again... even the hopeless believers can fall in love." Y/n softly tells me in nothing but a soft tone that sounds very angelic. I look at her confused, my face slightly furrowing. She stands up and pulls me up with her as Bishop starts walking over, she takes off my flannel and then takes her t-shirt off. "Want to jump with me, Ms Nill?" She asks in a sarcastic tone, I laugh and nod my head, she moves to the edge facing backwards with me right in front of her, she wraps her arms around my waist as our bodies were against one another, I can feel Bishop's eyes piercing into me.
"You going to go?" I ask her and she grins,
"I like surprise." She whispers as her lips were right in front of mines, I look down at her lips and as we start to lean in, she falls backwards pulling me with her, she howl's in excitement as I scream out of nervousness as I didn't know we were going. We land in the water and quickly arise our heads from above the water. "WOO!" She howl's out, I laugh and we both swim over to the stoney beach. I go to walk back up the hill to meet with everyone else but she pulls me back and places a rough but passionate kiss on my lips, I stumble forward leaning more into the kiss and place my hand on her neck kissing her back. She places her hands on my waist and pulls my lower stomach closer to her sending butterflies to flood my stomach. I blush and hear the group cheering and screaming our name, we both laugh as we part from the kiss, I tuck my head into the nape of her neck out of embarrassment as we continue to laugh, Y/n gives the group a middle finger, "Fuck you!" She sarcastically shouts at the group, they all laugh and when I turn to see everyone smiling and Natalie giving me a thumbs up, I look and see Bishop staring me down bitterly.
'Well... this isn't going to go well...' I think to myself. I turn to Y/n and she sees Bishop's angry reaction, she grins and bows staring him down then grabs my hand helping me up back to the group with her. 'This could really end up badly...' I think to myself, we arrive and when I move out the way, Bishop pushes Y/n back.
"What the fuck?!" Bishops shouts at her, she rolls her eyes.
"What? I didn't do anything." Y/n defensively tells him with a smirk on her face. I sigh and go over to Bishop moving him back.
"Walk away, it's not worth it." I tell him but he hits my hands away from him.
"No! We'll talk later." Bishop angrily tells me before he makes it way over to Y/n going for a punch but they start pushing each other and gripping onto each other until they were on the edge.
"Woah, woah, woah! Okay!" All of Y/n's friends try break the two up but they both fall off the cliff still fighting.
"Y/n!" I scream after her hoping that she'd stop. They splash into the water and I can barely see but Shawn jumps off and once he's down, I can barely see him pushing them away from one another but not working. "Shit." I whisper and jump off going down, I pull Y/n away and out of the water as she starts coughing water out of her mouth with bruises all over her face. SHIT.
