"Sameer, at least now throw away your anger. Rahul is no more in this world, why hold grudges against him after his death?" Naina said softly, with disappointment laced in her voice.

"Naina, I am not holding grudges against anyone, but I can't even forget how he treated me since childhood. I know this shouldn't have happened...but whatever he has done so far with his own brother. He deserved this." Sameer spoke with difficulty in his tone, as he remembered all those painful memories with Rahul.

"I know...you are right at your place, but." Naina was interrupted by her husband, who yelled at her out of anger - "But what? Do you think I am doing wrong by keeping hatred for that so-called brother of mine? Tell me one thing, how should one forgive that person who almost ruined his entire life? Who almost took away everything in a flash of a moment? I don't know why you can't understand how much your husband has suffered because of Rahul."

"Ok I am sorry...please calm down yourself." She said in a low voice, while rubbing her hand on his shoulder to bring down his anger.

"I felt bad when I read in the news that his flight got crashed, but I can't feel sympathy for him even a little. He never behaved with me like a real brother, I tried to support him regarding his gender, I tried to give him comfort, but he never trusted me enough to share his pain and feelings with." Sameer told Naina with grief his voice, and slowly placed his head on her shoulder.

Rahul died in an unfortunate plane crash, being a well-known businessman this news got viral within a few minutes. There was a couple of businessmen with him, whose photograph was printed in the news. Sameer developed a heavy feeling in his heart when he read about his brother's demise, but He can't erase those memories which Rahul gave him to carry for a lifetime.

Naina was gently rubbing his head, and wondering what exactly happened between these two brother's, that Sameer couldn't forgive Rahul even after his death.

"It's high time now to tell you about the past." Sameer said after a few minutes of silence.

"If you're not feeling comfortable then let it be." Naina said softly.

"No...I am fine, you have a right to know how your husband got mentally unstable." He spoke with a fake chuckle, and She slightly nodded her head in yes.

"Last year, Me...Tina and Rahul went to our ancestral house, where my step-mother attacked you. Remember? I wasn't ready to go, hence I didn't like accompanying Rahul, but Tina was like my sister, and She requested me to come with them for a small picnic. I never knew Tina was in love with Rahul, I was always occupied with my studies and all...I never paid attention to them. One stormy night one unfortunate incident happened to me, which couldn't ever be erased." Sameer said with heaviness in his voice, and Naina was already shivering.

                | • Flashback • |

Sameer was reading his favourite author book - Pride and Prejudice, his eyes were covered with spectacles, and lips were curled into a sweet smile, his back was resting against the bed-rest in a comfortable way. The rain was pouring heavily outside of their house, but it didn't matter to him as long as the book was in his hands.

Suddenly his concentration was disturbed by the two pairs of familiar voice, and He quickly shut off the book with an annoyed face, he tried to avoid eavesdropping their fighting, but his eager heart didn't allow him to neglect those words which was spell by Tina in a loud voice - "Why the hell can't you tell everyone that you love me. Rahul?"

"What? How could Rahul love Tina?" Sameer thought with a confused face, and walked near the door of his room, to hear their conversation more clearly.

"I don't want to tell anyone, anything right now. Try to understand." Rahul said in a low voice, and Sameer was shocked.

"He has gone mad...why isn't he revealing his identity to Tina? She is a straight girl, why would she marry someone who's interested in boys?" Sameer mumbled with an astounded face.

"I don't know anything, Rahul, I can't play this hide and seek game anymore. You love me, I love you, then what is stopping you from telling everyone about our relationship?" Tina questioned Rahul with annoyance in her loud tone.

"Stop yelling at me. Sameer is also there with us, he would know about us." Rahul scolded her in a stern voice.

"So? Let him know, he is your brother...he should know about us." Tina said angrily, and Sameer was wondering if He should interrupt their conversation or not. This poor girl deserves to know that the man She loves isn't suitable for her.

"No. He shouldn't know about us. Got it?" Rahul warned her in a firm voice.

"Why? What sin has he done? you might don't consider him as your brother...but I do, and I would tell him everything." Tina challenged Rahul with an evil smile, and Rahul said in a soft voice - "Please don't pull this stunt for god's sake Tina, he shouldn't come to know about this clandestine relationship, otherwise everything will be finished."

"Look Rahul, I am giving you one week...tell everyone that we love each other, if you don't have courage then tell me. I will announce this good news." Tina threatened him with a sweet smile, and patted his cheek before walking out of the room.

Sameer was blinking his eyes with a surprised face, he didn't know this moron was playing with Tina's feelings. He sighed, and quickly barged into Rahul's room, who was smoking a cigarette out of frustration, they both looked at each other coldly, and Sameer asked him - "What is this Rahul?"

"What?" He replied carelessly.

"Why are you fooling Tina?" Sameer asked him in a stern voice.

"What are you saying?" Rahul looked nonchalant about the question his younger brother asked him, and continued smoking his cigarette with a blank face.

"Stop this innocent boy game in front of me, I have heard everything. How could you play with her feelings? Don't you feel ashamed? What sin has she done? If you know about your gender, then why can't you just tell her everything? She is a sensible girl, she would understand you, but if you wouldn't tell her now, it wouldn't be good for any of us." Sameer said in a calm voice, and Rahul roughly threw away the cigarette, and looked at him in abhorrence.

"Stop giving me advice, I know how to handle her...and don't dare to tell her anything." Rahul threatened him.

"And why do you think I wouldn't tell her anything? I am not heartless like you, she deserves to know that a man She loves is out of her reach, she should stop running behind him." Sameer said with determination in his voice, and this was enough to frighten Rahul. His eyes stared at him pleadingly, but Sameer has already decided to confront Tina.

"Please...don't do this. I sincerely request you." Rahul spoke in a low voice, and Sameer said gently - "Doesn't matter brother...you can't hide this truth your whole life, better you tell her everything right now.".

"What do you think Tina will sit idle after knowing that I am a Gay? She will understand me? She won't understand Sameer, she is crazily in love with me, and if I would tell her I am not interested in her. She will either harm herself or me, and I don't want any trouble in my life right now." Rahul roared at his stubborn brother with an exhausted face, and Sameer shook his head in disbelief.

"Don't become selfish. Tina isn't a toy with whom you have to play, she is a fucking human being, and if She wouldn't understand you, then I would make her understand, don't worry about that, but stop making her fool. You can't hurt her for your own profit Mr.Rahul." Sameer said in a stern voice, and looked at him with rage and disappointment.

"I am not hurting her, but if I tell her about my gender, then surely She will get hurt." Rahul uttered in a sharp voice, and Sameer understood there is no meaning to put sense in this selfish man.

"I don't want to waste my time with you. I am going to tell her everything, hell with your fake concern for her." Sameer said grumpily, and turned to leave, but suddenly a sharp hit on his head blurred his vision slightly, and He looked back at Rahul with an enraged face.

"Go and tell her now. I was trying to make you understand, but you are so stubborn." Rahul yelled at him with hatred laced in his voice, and the next moment Sameer fell down on the floor.

"What happened to Sameer?" Tina entered his room the same moment, and was stunned at seeing the unconscious figure of Sameer.

But both of them didn't know He was still awake.

"He was threatening me. If I don't leave you, he will kill me, because he loves you. So in frustration, accidentally I hit this rod on his head." Rahul lied to her with a worried face, and Tina was shocked.

"What? No...Sameer doesn't love me, I know...in fact he considers me as his sister." Tina said with a perplexed face.

"This is his conspiracy to trap you in his innocence. He is such a double faced man." Rahul spoke with anger in his voice, but Tina was still not able to believe Sameer really threatened her lover to leave her. He can't do this. He is such a noble man.

"Ttttt...Ttina...dddd...ddon't...tttt, trust him." Sameer uttered in a barely audible voice, as he was gradually sleeping into the world of darkness.

"What is he saying?" Tina asked Rahul.

"Nothing...he is saying that He loves you." Rahul said with a nonchalant face.

          | • Flashback Ended • |

"I don't know what exactly they did with me, but I think Tina started to inject me with some harmful poison mixed in the liquid, to stop my brain from functioning like a mature man. She was a doctor, so she had a good knowledge about mental health and all. They lied to my family saying that I met with an accident which turned me into a small baby." Sameer said in a disgusted voice, and looked at his numbed wife.

"How do you know?" Naina asked him hesitantly.

"I asked Papa a few days before, what exactly they told everyone about my mental health...and He told me that Rahul said I have become like a baby because of the accident. I asked him to give me those bills and documents, which they would have shown everyone to make them believe that I am a kid, and when I went through those papers they were fake. It wasn't real...but my family of course would believe Tina, after all She was a doctor, and She used to give me harmful medicines by mixing them in my Chocolate Milkshake." Sameer cleared his wife's doubt with a painful smile, and She wasn't able to believe Rahul could stoop so low to hide his truth.

"How your family couldn't consult a few more doctors apart from Tina?" Naina asked him in a surprised tone.

"They did, but Tina was always with me." He said in a low voice.

"Papa was occupied with his work so he didn't really care about my mental health, and my step-mother must be celebrating that time when she would have seen me as a Baby...if someone was genuinely concerned for me, then it was Neeta Bhua and Khushi. They both never scolded me, or took advantage of my childishness, and what should I say about Rahul? Instead of feeling regret for his unforgivable mistake, he behaved with me like a heartless man. He taunted me, mocked me, insulted me, and asked my family to shift me somewhere else, because He can't tolerate my kiddish behaviour." Sameer spoke with the thickness of water in his glassy eyes, which was coated in pain and sorrow.

"I was never really an important part of my family, even if I would have died that day. They wouldn't have mourned for me." He added further with a fake chuckle, and Naina couldn't stop her tears from rolling down on her soft cheeks. It was painful for her to even imagine his situation.

"Having them as my family was a blessing in disguise." Sameer said in a heavy voice, and Naina softly wiped away his teardrop, which was on the verge of falling on her palm.

"I seriously didn't have a slight idea that Rahul could ever hurt you, when I was investigating the culprit behind your mental illness. I found Tina suspicious, because when she was on a duty, I examined her room, and collected a few stripes of those harmful medicine in her drawer, and then when I saw Neeta Bhua insisting you to drink the milkshake, I thought She is also involved with her daughter, but I didn't know She was dragged unnecessarily in this mess." Naina spoke in an infuriated tone, and cursed herself for not doubting Rahul.

"So you knew that medicine was mixed in my milkshake?" He asked her.

"Yes. I saw Tina adding one pill in your milkshake." She answered him.

"Tina didn't know that her milkshake I was throwing in the wash basin every-day. She used to think that you're drinking her harmful drink. It was quite difficult for me to hide from her that I knew her reality. I had doubts about her since that night when I found one half-finished packet of medicine in your drawer. She must have forgotten to remove that packet, because I was new at that time, and before me you used to stay alone in the whole bedroom. So it was expected that She kept those packets in your drawer to keep herself safe." Naina explained to him with a small smile, and Sameer had a shine of pride in his damp eyes.

"Why did no-one ever try to check about the medicine you were given every-day." She questioned him with an astounded face, and He smiled slowly, and said - "Didn't I tell you just now, my existence meant nothing to them, and just think once how Bhua ji would doubt her own daughter? Khushi was young so she must haven't had much idea about all this, and my step-mom was never interested in my life."

"So now tell me honestly Naina. Should I really feel bad for that person who presented me as a baby? Who almost spoiled my life?" Sameer asked her in a tranquil voice, and Naina had nothing to say. She just shook her head lightly, and He smiled painfully.

"Now do you understand Why I was insecure about you? No one was ever loyal to me, not even my own mother." He said in a husky voice, and held her trembling hand a bit firmly.

"I am sorry...I shouldn't have argued with you regarding Rahul. I didn't know that guy had masked an innocent man's face." Naina cursed him under her breath, and looked at her husband with empathy.

"It's ok...let it be, don't forget that He was the one that day who saved me when I was drowning in the swimming pool, fighting for every breath. He gave a new life to me." Sameer said with a small smile, and She hummed in response.

"It was written in my destiny to go through this painful phase, but we should be thankful to god for making me normal like before. If he wouldn't have sent you into my life, I would have never got to live again like a normal person." He said in a hoarse voice, and slowly caressed her soft cheek with a gentle touch.

"I have done nothing. Trust me Sameer, I have done nothing in front of the love and happiness you have bestowed upon me." Naina spoke with a sweet smile, and placed her head on his chest, and her hands locked behind his back in a strong manner. Sameer reciprocated the hug with warmness in his touch, and a feeling of relaxation in his heart. He softly kissed her on her head, and held her delicate figure closely to himself, as if afraid to lose this beautiful angel, who whirled her magic on him, and converted him into a wise man.

"Rona band karo meri jaan. Please." He said in a low voice, and rubbed his hand gently on her back.

"Dekho mujhe...lagta hai kabhi mere saath itna bura haadsa hua tha? Nahin na, toh tum kyu ro kar apne in aansuon ko barbaad kar rahi ho...Main bilkul theek hoon ab, sirf aur sirf tumhari badolat, ab agar fir royi na tum toh mujhe bhi rona aa jayega...Kya tum chahti ho tumhara yeh baby husband rone lage?" Sameer coaxed her with a loving smile, and touched his lips for a moment on her glistening forehead.

"Kabhi nahin...I always want mera baby husband, and humare future baby ke father humesha happy...happy rahe." Naina said with a cute smile, and broke the hug, and placed her hand on his cheek. He held that hand closer to his lips, and gave her a few soft kisses on her tiny fingers.

"I Love You Angel." Sameer confessed out of euphoria, and in response She pecked him on his lips.

"Aapko pata hai...main har pehli barish me bhagwan se Ek Dua mangti thi...ab lagta hai woh sari duayein ek saath hi qubool hogayi hai." Naina said with a broad smile, and He chuckled, and hugged her tightly.
