"come in!" Jeno chirps as they finally got back to his apartment, it was sort of perfect timing since it started raining when they headed in the building.
"Bongsik~ come and eat!" He coos as he quickly finishes pouring out some cat food for his beloved pet.
The said feline struts in from his bedroom, probably just woke up from a nap or something while he was out for the whole day.
She passes by Jaemin– who was standing near Jeno in the kitchen and watching the younger cook some food for them, and meows at the other man.
Jaemin just looks at her and raised a brow when they made eye contact, he really couldn't believe what was happening and wants to think that–
"There you are my precious baby!" Jeno squeals, picking up Bongsik in his arms and cuddles her against his chest, pecking her head a few times before placing her back down on the ground.
She walks over to her food bowl and began to eat the food Jeno had given her, weirdly glancing back to look at Jaemin again.
"You can borrow my clothes for tonight if you want, I'm sorry I had to drag you here immediately before you could even pack your things hyung." Jeno pouts, looking at Jaemin as he cooks them some pasta.
The vampire boy only shrugs, "it's whatever. I'll get them tomorrow when you go to school." He dismisses.
Unbeknownst to Jeno, his soulmate had another reason for it.
Hey, blame Yangyang for wanting to rant to Jaemin again about something and probably annoy him while at it. Jaemin didn't want to leave Jeno's school area tomorrow, but he has to.
Okay, don't tell Jeno he said that.
"Food's ready!" Jeno interrupts Jaemin's stupor and leads him to sit down on one of the kitchen stools, placing a plate for the elder and one for himself.

After dinner, Jeno gets ready for bed– taking a shower and changing his clothes into more comfortable ones. He pauses when he walks in the room, cheeks heating up at the sight.
Jaemin was taking his shirt off, neatly folding it and placing it on Jeno's small desk, his back was turned which Jeno was a little relieved at first before the elder turned to face him.
"I'll sleep on the beanbag." He spoke up, resulting Jeno to squeak a little from suddenly hearing Jaemin's low voice while he looks back up to meet the elder's eyes.
"U-uh... Ye- wait– uhm, you can h-have me– I MEAN THE BED! Yes, uh– the bed, hyung." Jeno stammered, face red as he tries to not glance down to Jaemin's abs.
Jaemin raised a brow at him, couldn't help but feel something from this other side of Jeno.
He hasn't really seen the brunet this shy before, yes he squeaks, squeals, looks away, blushes, and do all those weird cutesy– uh weird childish things whenever he's with Jaemin.
He has only seen Jeno being so happy and giggly, then the recent one which is being so emotional and teary.
He prefers the first one, as annoying as Jeno can be when he's energetic.
But this one, this has a similar feeling he gets when Jeno is being happy. He really shouldn't think of that right now.
Okay, point is Jeno hasn't been this shy, and flustered, and stuttery towards him. Hell, the poor boy's face is almost as red as his blood.
Speaking of blood, Jaemin feels a little hungry right now. Must be because of Hendery feeding himself off earlier in front of them and has finished more than three plastic bags.
"No, I'll take the beanbag. This is your place." He argues a bit, brushing off that weird feeling.
Jeno then pouts, as always whenever Jaemin decided to argue or refuse an offer with him.
The elder sighs silently, "here we go again."
"But hyung~" Jeno whines, "this is your place now too! You should have the bed, atleast for tonight." He offers.
Jaemin clicks his tongue, "I'm having the beanbag, and that's final. You have school tomorrow, go to sleep." He said sternly, eyes glaring a little.
The brunet huffs before exaggerating a long sigh, "fineeee~" he whines, dragging his feet lazily on the floor before plopping down face first onto his bed with a thud, his body bouncing on the mattress a little from the action.
"Jeno, stop it. Go to bed right now." Jaemin had his arms crossed, watching the younger silently sulk on his bed just because of a small argument.
The said boy grunts, "but I wanted to watch a movie with you, or play with Bongsik a little bit." He said against his pillow, his words came out muffled for Jaemin.
However, because he's a vampire and thankfully still has his good hearing skills, Jaemin heard him quite clearly which made him huff. "And why's that?" He pries.
Jeno lifts his head slightly to look over his shoulder, his neck hurts from that position but he's fine. "I just want to spend time with you." He grouches.
The vampire boy bit the inside of his cheek, "go to sleep." He muttered.
"But hyung–"
"Go to sleep, maybe we can do that tomorrow or something." He dismisses sternly.
His words made Jeno feel a little bit better, he twists his body too fast to sit up and look at the elder, that he almost pulled a muscle.
"Really?!" He exclaimed, biting his lip so hard to contain his upcoming squeal as he waits for the elder's confirmation.
Jaemin groans, getting a tad annoyed by now. He's really tired alright? And here he is, still standing up and having a small argument with his now roommate.
"Yes, now can you just go to sleep already? I'm tired too." He grumbles under his breath, reaching a hand up to swiftly brush his messy hair with his fingers.
The younger nods like a little puppy, Jaemin found that as a coincidence to what he calls the boy in his mind. He should really stop having these thoughts.
"Okay! Goodnight hyung, and sleep well!" Jeno said before laying down on his back, pulling the covers up to his nose as he gets himself comfortable.
Jaemin soon does the same on the beanbag, it wasn't a small one, hence why he suggested it instead of the couch in the living room.
If he did chose the couch, he would never hear the end of Jeno Lee's whine unless he does something the boy wants. Which is probably let himself cling onto the elder.
He ignores the small grumbling of his empty stomach, craving for a bit of blood, but he contains himself atleast for tonight. His source of blood is sleeping now anyways.
Just as he almost drifts off to sleep, he hears a few shuffling around before followed by some footsteps approaching him.
Usually he would immediately wake up and get defensive, but since he could smell the person approaching him, he didn't and instead just opened his eyes to big doe ones staring at him.
"What?" He croaks, a little ticked off from being disturbed.
Jeno pursed his lips while fiddling with his fingers, "I almost forgot something."
"Wh–"

Jeno shyly smiles at him, even though he's done this multiple times after Jaemin didn't push him away or get mad at him on the first one.
"Nighty night, hyung." He waves a little with his sweater paw before walking back to his bed and tucks himself under his blanket.
Jaemin reaches to place his fingers on his cheek where Jeno had kissed him goodnight, sighing at himself and pushing his tongue against his cheek.
"My dear soulmate, I usually dream of you. But now, it has become a reality."
"Pup, I'm too tired for this–"
