"Shouldn't you be helping Lily?"

Gwen looks up at Peter's question and quirks a brow, replying simply. "No."

He smiles at her flat response, tilting his head to the side. Gwen sighs at his unvoiced question and explains, "Marlene and Dorcas are helping. I was kicked out."

Remus peers at her confusedly over his book. Gwen flushes slightly and admits, "She asked me if yellow looked bad with her hair and I said yes. Apparently I'm not supposed to be honest in these situations."

Gwen hadn't meant it in a bad way, just that between the yellow sweater and the maroon one, the maroon looked better. Marlene had laughed and nearly been kicked out herself.

Peter grins and says truthfully, "Ninnie, I find your honesty refreshing."

"Thank you, Pete," She says warmly, her face passive as begins to read her magazine. "Sirius says it's a turn on."

Remus snickers and shakes his head, knowing how Sirius would react to her spilling more of their secrets. He can't help but find it amusing. Especially when James encourages it.

"You're honesty is a turn on?" Peter asks for clarification, biting back a laugh when the Veela doesn't look up, just answers, "Yes amongst other thing. He quite likes—"

Her words are muffled by a warm hand pressing against her lips. She smirks and sticks out her tongue, biting back a laugh when Sirius grunts and wipes his hand on her shoulder, "Gross, Inferi."

"It probably turned you on," Gwen says cheekily, looking up to meet his grey eyes. She smiles at the mirth and affection, watching him round the back of the couch and plop down on her lap. She grimaces at the sudden weight, shifting to get more comfortable.

"You're sitting on my magazine," Gwen points out, biting back a smile as he wriggles around to get comfortable. He sighs dramatically and says, "Ninnie, you're legs are not very cozy."

"You seem to like my legs—" She trails off when he sends her a warning look, biting down on the inside of her cheek. But she waggles her brows and Sirius grins, muttering, "Feeling frisky today?"

"Around you?" She asks, voice filled with mirth. "Always."

It was true, not that she would likely admit it without joking. She'd been wanting for him, craving for him. But they hadn't had a moment alone, especially since the quidditch win the day before. Every time they'd get a chance to settle down, melt into each other, someone would interrupt to congratulate Sirius on Gryffindor's first win of the season.

Sirius barks out a laugh before catching her lips in a gentle kiss. He pulls away reluctantly, smiling when James suddenly joins the rest of the Marauders and the Veela, an apprehensive look on his face.

Gwen's eyes soften and Sirius nearly melts. He wasn't sure he'd ever find someone that loved his friends as much as he did. Gwen did. She understood. She understood how much friends could be like family. So he sits quietly and watches her stretch over the arm of the chair to grab James' hand.

"You're going to do great, love," Gwen encourages, giving him an encouraging squeeze. James smiles timidly, hesitating before asking, "Really?"

"Of course!" Gwen replies before continuing firmly, "Just be yourself. I swear that she's just as nervous as you are. You best get going though if you want to beat her to the courtyard."

James nods and stands, grinning when Gwen gestures for him to come closer. If it were anyone else, Sirius would be pissed when she pecks his friends cheek. Instead he offers James a cheeky grin and teases, "Go get your girl, Prongs. And if anything goes wrong, Gwen will kick Evans' arse."

The Veela rolls her eyes but nods in agreement, Peter and Remus laughing and offering happy smiles. Gwen's chest warms when James takes a deep breath, smiles, then disappears from the portrait hole.

"Think he's going to fuck up?" Gwen asks curiously, smiling up at her boyfriend when he shrugs and replies with mirth, "Probably. But I have a feeling your meddling is going to pay off, Inferi."

Sirius suddenly groans and climbs to his feet, holding out his hand. Gwen smiles, rolling up her magazine and tucking it in his bag before grabbing his hand.

"Where are we going?" She wonders, quirking a brow. Sirius shrugs and teases, "Wherever the wind takes us. See you later lads."

Gwen moves to follow Sirius but stops short, hesitating before saying plainly, "Remus, let me know how studying goes in the library."

His head suddenly whips up from his book. Peter and Sirius are either too distracted or are completely unaware of the exchange. They both have no idea who he's studying with. He thought he'd kept it a secret. But there were no secrets to keep from the Veela. Remus grows uncomfortable under her knowing stare, quickly nodding. Gwen smiles slightly and winks before following Sirius out of the common room.

Her heart flutters when he slings his arms around her shoulders, asking, "Want to go to the kitchens?"

Gwen laughs and replies, "I'm not hungry, but I'm happy to sit with you if you are."

Sirius grins and shakes his head, "Nope. Not hungry. Just trying to figure out a place where I can finally be alone with my girlfriend."

Girlfriend. He still makes her knees weak, despite how normal being with him feels. Her heart still races, her cheeks still flush. She bites back a laugh when he whines dramatically, "I want to go to the astronomy tower but it's fucking cold!"

She rolls her eyes and asks, "Do you have your telescope?" He looks down at her curiously and nods, a grin pulling at his lips when she starts leading the way. He recognizes the steps to Ravenclaw tower, but doesn't say anything. He just waits patiently as Gwen chats with the enchanted door knocker, telling the eagle that she was too tired for riddles today. He bites back a laugh when the door just swings open.

Gwen quick peers around the common room and finds that it's empty. She tugs Sirius through the round room quickly, pulling him to the bottom of the girls dorm stairs.

"Ninnie, I can't—"

He stops short when the Veela pulls out her wand and murmurs a spell he can't quite hear. Whatever it is, it works. When he steps on the stairs it does not turn into a slide, much to his delight.

He smiles when Gwen catches his eye, her pale blue gaze twinkling with mirth. She checks again that the dorm is empty and then they slip inside.

He soaks in the room while Gwen locks the door, his eyes taking in the large windows, the upholstered blue chairs. Blue. Everything. Even the sheets were blue silk that looked like water. Sirius knows instantly which one is her bed, his eyes lingering on a moving portrait of the ocean.

He smiles and walks over, gently picking up the frame and watching the waves move and the birds circle overhead. It reminds him of the Christmas present she got him, the beach in a bottle. He keeps it on his nightstand, almost exactly where she keeps her picture.

He looks up when he sees her move out of the corner of his eye. She's on the other side of the bed, shifting uncomfortably back and forth. At first he thinks it might be that he's touching her picture. But he notes the way her cheeks are flushed.

"Ninnie?" He asks curiously, earning her attention. He smiles and tilts his head in confusion at her shyness. She clears her throat and says quietly, "I thought maybe...you would want to..."

He blinks. Still confused. He nearly reaches for his telescope in his bag, but she's too flustered. Too embarrassed for this to just be about stargazing in her bed. Realization dawns on him and he asks slowly, "Gwen, are you...horny?"

"Don't say that. It's crass," She snaps, growing irritable as her embarrassment doesn't fade. It only gets worse when Sirius' lips twitch.

"It's not crass," Sirius retorts gently. "I'm horny around you all of the time."

She lets out a hum of acknowledgement and he chuckles. He loved seeing her flushed and shy, a reaction he didn't get out of her often. A reaction only he really ever got to see though. She made him feel special, even when she wasn't trying. Though she doesn't need to be embarrassed, not for this.

Gwen let's out a shriek of surprise when Sirius suddenly reaches across the bed and grabs her robes, pulling her down onto the mattress. She stares at him with wide eyes when Sirius climbs on top of her, his lips still quirked in a disbelieving smile.

"Let's get a few things straight, Whitlock," Sirius teases, pressing a kiss to her warm cheeks. His heart melts at her tiny smile, her raised brows. This girl.

"I'm never going to say no to sex," He says simply, pecking her lips once. Gwen sighs and nods, wriggling her arms pinned under his hands. He laughs and continues, "You're allowed to want me too. You wanting me...it makes me feel good. I swear."

Gwen hesitates before nodding again, leaning up to peck his lips. Sirius smirks and mutters, "I can't believe that you're so unashamed talking about our sex life with everyone but me. I think it's hot, Inferi. I think it's fucking sexy that you want me the ways I want you."

Her breathing hitches when his knee parts her legs, his lips brush hers. It was hard for her to articulate how he made her feel. Alive. She felt alive when she was with him. And sometimes she did want him, like when he'd have pink cheeks and windswept hair from quidditch. Or when they would study star charts. It was just hard for her to initiate that stuff, to act on the feelings she frequently had.

Though those thoughts fly out of the window when Sirius leans back on his knees to get a good look at her. He studies her fanned out hair on her pillowcase, her tanned skin against the silk sheets. Gwen feels like she's on fire when he says lowly,

"Fuck, you look good in blue."

And then his lips are on hers, earning every moan and whine and noise that has been built up from sexual tension all day.

If wanting him makes him feel good, than she would continue wanting him forever.
