So please don't come after me, because I did warn you. Okay. Onto the chapter...
Last Monday when I finally woke up from being unconscious, I was just as furious as the guys.
But tonight, we intend to end Evolution, and continue our dominating streak.
We stood backstage stretching, as we came up with a game plan.
"Is everyone prepaired for tonight?"- Roman
"HELL YEAH!"- Dean
We all chuckled at Dean's excitement. I was a little nervous about tonight, but I know that we can pull this off.
"Hey. Can I talk to Lelani alone real quick?"- Roman
"Sure."- Dean/Seth
They walked away as I turned to my older brother.
"Whats up?"- Lelani
"Lelani. I know that we have been through a lot of battles already. But this is the biggest battle of our careers. I need to know if your going to be okay with tonight's match. Because you seem nervous."- Roman
"Yeah, I am nervous. But I'll be okay. Because I know that you, Dean, and Seth will be watching my back and making sure I don't get hurt. Sure I walk out with a slight limp, littered in bruises, and might have blood all over, but guess what? I know it will all be worth it, because we WILL walk out victorious."- Lelani
He smiled and pulled me into a huge brotherly hug. Roman has gotten more protective of me in recent months. Its gotten to the point, where The Uso's, Tamina, The Rock, and uncle Rikishi are all in the back making sure I'm okay. I guess I didn't realize how serious of a situation this was until now.
We walked until we found Dean and Seth. It looked like they were about to have a war of words, but when we got there, they quickly stopped. We looked at them confused, but just shrugged it off. We know that they are just as tense and restless as we are.
The time came for our match. The butterflies came back, and my heart dropped. I am now nervous. At first, it was bearable, but now, it feels like my legs are gonna give out, my heart feels like it will beat right out of my chest, and my blood is running cold.
We stood behind the curtain at the top of the stairs. The boys were talking about something, but I zoned out. I started to think about what Malia might pull out for weapons tonight. I know that her, along with Madyson Hardy, were two of the most hardcore women back in the day. I mean, Malia ended up retiring Madyson because she got the same neck injury as her husband, Edge. Their last match together was so legendary, that every diva wanted to be like them. Hell, even I wanted to be like them. But I plan to take a page out of her playbook, and hopefully it will work out in the end.
But I know that Malia will do anything it takes to win tonight. Afterall, she is the wife to the Viper, and is a member of Evolution. But I just hope that whatever she brings tonight, I can one up her.
"LELANI!"- Colby
I snapped out my thoughts when Colby yelled at me.
"Huh, Yeah?"- Lelani
"You okay babygirl? You seemed to be lost in thought."- Jon
"Oh, yeah I'm fine. I was just thinking of ways I could get rid of Malia."- Lelani
"Hey, we all know that you can take her down. Just know that we will help you, and we will have your back."- Joe
"Thanks guys."- Lelani
"Hey Lelani. I just wanted to personally apologize for the way I've been treating you. There has been so much going on, and I have been overwhelmed with emotions. And you should know that I am not happy that you lost your title. I led my own ego get in the way of something that you worked hard on."- Colby
"Hey. I told you I forgive you. I knew something was going on when you snapped at me. But I also understand. We've all been through some rough stuff lately. But fights will happen in a family, it's normal."- Lelani
"And we know that we can all forgive each other."- Jon
"Because Friends win the fight." Lelani
"But family wins the war." Colby
Joe pulled us all in for a group hug. Then, our music hit. Well lets do this.
We stood on the apron starring at Evolution.
I took a deep breath as Malia entered into the ring, and ask- no demanded that I get in.
I slowly got into the ring, and stood closer to Malia so that her and I stared into each others souls.
We were starring at each other, talking trash, then, she took the first blow and hit me. The bell rung, and chaos broke out. All eight of us fought back and forth in the ring. Dean and I tossed Randy and Malia outside of the ring. And we ran across the ring, I used Seth as a step to jump over the ropes, while Dean went through the ropes.
Roman and Seth threw Bautista and Hunter outside of the ring as well. Dean and I joined Seth and Roman in the ring, while Evolution collected themselves on the outside of the ring.
They finally got back onto the apron. And Randy decided to go first. So Dean wanted a shot at the viper. Be careful Dean.
They were about to lock up, but Randy tagged in Hunter. So Dean tagged in Roman. The ground beneath us felt like it was going to split in half because of how much the fans were screaming. I guess everyone really wanted to see this match happen.
They locked up, and things got crazy. They started exchanging blow after blow. And Roman did something that shocked me. He did a facebreaker to Hunter. I taught him how to do that!
Hunter tried rolling away, but Roman rolled out quicker, and did the drive by to him.
Randy, Bautista, and Malia got off the apron, and stood in Roman's way of getting to Hunter. But I got off the apron, and stood next to my older brother. Dean and Seth stood next to us. Then, another brawl broke out. I threw Malia into the ring post, did a German Supplex to her so that I could keep her down for a little bit. I looked and saw that the boys had all taken the rest of Evolution down.
They gave me the signal. So Dean came over and helped me get some chairs, a couple of tables and a couple of kendo sticks.
Seth ran after Triple H who had disappeared into the crowd, while Dean and I went after Randy and Malia who also went into the crowd, but the opposite direction. It turns out, the couple went opposite directions. So finding Malia and Randy was a challenge.
I found Malia, but she ended up using a fire extinguisher on me before I could strike. That caught me off guard, and because of that, I dropped the kendo stick I was holding. Malia took that opportunity to grab the stick, and start attacking me with the weapon.
*Dean's P.O.V.*
I was running all over the place trying to find Randy. But out of nowhere, I saw smoke. I knew that Lelani was out here in the crowd, so I went to go find her. But at that time, Randy came up behind me, and attacked. I tried to fight off the viper, but he had the upper hand.
He had thrown me all around the crowd until we saw the girls. Malia was smacking Lelani with the kendo stick that Lelani chased Malia with. Malia saw us, and she picked Lelani up, and sent her my way. At the same time, Randy sent me towards Lelani.
We ended up crashing into each other, and since I'm bigger, Lelani went flying back, and hitting the ground. I crawled over to Lelani to make sure she was okay, while the Orton's ran off.
*Lelani's P.O.V.*
Getting hit by a man that is 200 pounds hurts. Getting hit by the same man, and hitting the concrete hurts even more. Dean crawled to me, and made sure I was okay. I was out of breath, but I answered him by saying yes.
After we caught our breath, we slowly stood to our feet, and we made our way back to the ring. We got to the barricade, and saw that Evolution just powerbombed Roman through the one table.
Dean and I quickly jumped over the barricade, and took down as many members of Evolution as we could. Dean went to town attacking the men, while I took care of Malia. However, we quickly became overpowered, and we were suddenly being dragged up to the entrance. As we were being dragged, Seth came out of nowhere to help us out, but he sadly suffered the same fate as Dean and I.
We were outnumbered, and we were getting pumbled to no end. Both Seth and I ended up getting our heads smacked into the LED wall. That ended up knocking us out.
They then started attacking Dean, but they stopped once they saw Roman crawl back into the ring. They went to the ring, and grabbed Roman, then proceeded to drag him up to the entrance where we all were. I was crawling on my knees to Dean, but I had no idea where Seth went.
Dave threw Roman on the ground, and was about to start pumbling him, but Seth had jumped from the top of the LED wall, and dove onto Evolution. Dean and I then got up, and helped Seth take down Evolution. We ended up taking everyone but Triple H back to the ring.
Seth went to go do a move, but ended up getting speared by Dave. Dave went to pin Seth, but Dean stopped the count.
Dave stood up, only to be speared by Roman who had now returned back to the ring. Dean ended up pinning Dave, eliminating the animal.
1..2..3!!
"Bautista has been eliminated!"- Lillian
One down, three more to go.
I now turned my attention to Malia, who was now in the ring. She ran at me, and I speared her, and went for the pin.
1..2.-
I was pulled out of the ring by my ankle, and thrown into the side of the barricade by Randy. Luckily, Roman and Seth were outside of the ring, so they took care of him by shoving him into the side of the ring, and made quick work of him over by the tables.
While I was still trying to catch my breath, I saw that the guys had Randy back in the ring, and gave a triple power bomb to Randy, and eliminated him.
"Randy Orton has been eliminated!"- Lillian
I stood up using the barricade as a crutch. As soon as I turned to my left, I got hit in the stomach with the sledge hammer, and it made me fall onto the ground again, causing the wind to be knocked out of me. I coughed and held onto my ribs. I doubled over in pain from the impact.
Triple H had now entered the match once again.
As the guys went over to take care of him, Randy and Bautista came running back to attack the guys. And they were using the weapons that Dean and I had pulled out earlier, to stop them from getting to me.
*Malia's P.O.V*
I looked and saw that Randy and Dave had come back to deal with the shield after Hunter hit Lelani with the sledge hammer.
I crawled out of the ring and grabbed a couple of things. Like a chair, kendo stick, a table, chains, and a small bag.
!BLOOD WARNING AHEAD!
I set the table up inside of the ring, and just as I was about to get the chains, I saw that Lelani had now gotten into the ring. But I went ahead and started hitting her, and she started to hit me as well. And We ended up hitting each other pretty good, because I noticed that I busted her lip, and made her nose bleed a little. I would say I'm sorry, but I'm not.
I went for the chains, but she beat me to it. She head-butted me, which caused me to stumble. Lelani grabbed the chains, and when I turned to her, the chains were wrapped around one of her hands, she hit me in the head, making my head hurt, but also causing blood to start oozing out a little.
*Back to Lelani's P.O.V*
I felt my lip, and when I saw blood, I just sighed. Great.
Since I wasn't paying attention, someone grabbed my ankle, making me fall on my face, and pulled me out of the ring.
I was on my knees, and Hunter had pulled my hair back, making me look in the eyes of the Viper. Dean and Roman had now seen my beaten up face. Bautista had a tight grip on Dean, who was on his knees in front of me, while Roman was handcuffed to the ring post. This was their sick way of torturing them. However, Seth was knocked out cold by the now broken Spanish announcers table.
I was able to see Dean and Roman's faces. Dean had blood on the side of his head, and also had a busted lip. But his was worse than mine. He also had welts on his arms from being hit with a kendo stick multiple times. Roman however, also had blood on the side of his head, but his shield vest was off, and his tank top had been ripped off, showing the welts that were littered over his stomach, and chest.
Randy ran, and kicked me in the jaw, making everything hurt even more. And he even started to stomp on my hands, and instead if stomping on my ankles, he stomped on my left knee. Which had started causing me problems recently. I screamed out in pain.
I was picked up again, and Randy held a tight grip on my arms. Malia crawled out of the ring, holding a kendo stick. She smiled wickedly, and began to hit Roman repeatedly with the stick, while Hunter hit Dean with the sledge hammer. They both screamed out in pain, and I tried getting out of the grip, but it was no use. Malia turned to me, and began to hit me repeatedly with the kendo stick. I yelped out in pain, but she didn't stop until the stick broke.
But I was quickly thrown back into the ring, and I was power bombed through the table that Malia had set up.
I heard what sounded like small metal things being dropped onto the mat. I heard Roman and Seth yelling at me, and when I looked up, I saw my worst nightmare.
Thumbtacks.

I slowly got up from where I was. I do NOT want to be thrown through those. But Malia quickly saw that I was getting up, so she hit me repeatedly with the chains, making me bleed out more. I could feel the welts forming on my sides, back, and arms from the previous attack. I am going to be sore tomorrow. But before she could hit me again, I ducked her hit, then round house kicked her making her stumble, but she still managed to give me the RKO.
She picked me up, and she went to powerbomb me through the small sharp items, but I got out of her grasp, and was instantly met by Hunter. But out of nowhere, He was speared by Roman who got out of the handcuffs thanks to Dean and Seth.
And between him, Dean, and Seth they picked up Hunter, but before they could do anything, I kicked Malia in the gut, then did a facebreaker to her. But since she only stumbled, I picked her up, and between myself and the guys, they power bombed Hunter threw the tacks, while I gave a German Supplex to Malia onto the pile of thumbtacks.
They both screamed out in pain, and Seth Pinned and eliminated Hunter.
"Triple H has been Eliminated!"- Lillian

Malia got out of the pile, and her back was covered in blood.
I stood to my feet, and instantly felt pain in my right arm. I looked and saw that my arm had a few thumbtacks. Those are gonna hurt.
Malia was laying on the ground on her stomach, and I went over to her, and got in her face.
"Don't worry, it will be over before you know it sweetheart." Lelani
I then walked over to the corner to prepare for the spear.
Malia slowly got up, and when she turned around, I speared her to mat with what little energy I had. She landed on her back causing her to scream, then I went for the pin.
1..2..3!!
"Here are your winners, The Shield!!"- Lillian
I slowly got up, and I was embraced in a group with the guys.
They were cheering, and laughing. We were all sore, and we had no energy whatsoever. Still holding onto each other, We put our hands up together, then we went back into that group hug.
After a few minutes, we slowly left the ring. We then put our fists in the middle at the top of the ramp. We looked at the carnage, and we all had a tired smile on our faces.
We've won the battle.
We've won the war.
Or so we thought.....
Whew!!
