Kabanata 36 : Skydiving
I thought he was joking that time but he literally stayed true to his words.
After a week form our lunch date in Nuvali, he asked me to go to Zambales with him.
"You're joking right?" I asked while I was seated on the shot gun seat.
"I'm not? Takot ka ba?" He said cockily. Por que nasubukan na niya, if I know part ata ng training iyon ng mga air force.
"Hindi ako takot, I really want to do that nga e'." I said without hiding my tone of excitement.
I really love doing extreme adventures but I didn't have the time.
"Kailan ka pa naging conyo?" tanong niya kaya sinimangutan ko siya. I lived in the states for years and that's why.
"I lived in the states," I voiced out shrugging.
"Tulog ka muna, it will be a long drive." he mentioned while looking directly at the road.
"Nah, I'll keep you company," I answered but I dozed off after thirty minutes of staring at the wide fields.
Ginising niya ako at mukhang nagpipigil ng tawa. I just pouted because I said I'll stay awake and keep him company pero nakatulog ako. We stopped over at a gasoline station and we ate at army navy tapos we're back on the road again.
"Tulog ka na uli," he said and I glared at him pero palang wala lang iyon sa kaniya. "Alam ko lagi kang puyat. You now look like a raccoon." He said and I hit his arm. "Hey, I'm driving!" Angal niya pero natatawa.
"Itigil mo yung sasakyan nang masapak kita," pero tawa pa rin nang tawa 'tong lalaking 'to.
"Oh, I'm scared," He joked and I rolled my eyes. Mukha kaming batang nag-aaway, 'yung isa pikon tas 'yung isa naman mapang-asar.
We argued for about an hour. Talagang nag-aasaran lang kami kaya hindi na rin ako nakatulog. Nang makarating kami sa Iba ay dumiretso kami sa skydiving center. We brought clothes with us kasi sabi niya mag-oovernight kami sa isang beach resort na malapit. Matagal na rin simula nung huli akong makapunta sa beach.
May mga ilan kaming kasabay sa briefing. Nakinig lamang ako sa lahat ng sinasabi ng instructor at hindi ko mapigilan ma-excite lalo.
Pagkatapos non ay binigyan na kami ng gears at sky diving outfit. Jac was beside the whole time, except sa magbibihis syempre.
"I'll finally be able to do this," Bulong ko sa sarili ko. Nagulat ako nang lumitaw si Jac sa tabi ko at hinawakan ang kamay ko.
"Ready?" He asked.
"More than ready," I answered and pulled him.
We rode a helicopter at nagtataka ako kung bakit wala kaming kasamang professional skydiver. Literal na kaming dalawa lang ni Jac at iyong pilot, don't tell me...
"I'll be your guide today," He said to my ear. Lumakas tuloy ang tibok ng puso ko.
He fixed the harness and the other gears. Nang nasa drop off point na kami ay nag-ready na kaming tumalon.
"Do you trust me?" Jac said in a loud voice.
"I trust you!" I yelled back kahit parang tatakasan na ako nang puso ko sa sobrang bilis ng tibok nito.
Before I could even decide not to do this anymore, we jumped. Napasigaw tuloy ako at mahigpit ang kapit sa harness.
"Open your eyes," Jac said. He seems like he's enjoying this so much so I opened my eyes.
The view of Zambales welcomed me. My eyes wandered on the calming view here from the sky.
"It's so beautiful," I whispered and let the breeze of the altitude hit my face.
Kung kanina ay sasabog ang puso ko sa takot, ngayon naman ay parang sasabog na ito sa tuwa.
"I love you, Jann Marcus Montalez!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.
"I love you too, Raszea Shekainah Zarate!" He yelled back. We both laughed and enjoyed the panoramic view of Zambales just beneath us.
He did all the instructions the instructor said earlier. Dahan dahan kaming bumaba, the parachute was making us flew to different sides but Jac was handling it.
Nang makababa na kami sa lupa ay tinulungan niya akong tanggalin iyong gear at agad akong yumakap sa kaniya.
"I enjoyed it, very much. Thank you so much," I kissed his cheeks. Hinaplos naman niya nang bahagya iyong pisngi ko.

After that amazing skydiving we did, pumunta na kami sa beach resort at nagcheck-in. He got two bed rooms adjacent to each other.
Dinala muna namin sa mga kwarto iyong dala naming gamit saka kami lumabas at naghanap ng resto sa tabi ng beach.
"Sunbathing tayo mamaya," I said to him while looking at the people under the sun. Nakita ko ang bahagyang pagsimangot niya.
"I'm already tanned," he spatted and gave me a pout. Natawa tuloy ako nang bahagya kaya hinila ko nalang siya sa resto.
"Sure kang mauubos natin 'to?" I asked while looking all the dishes that was served in the table.
Merong buttered crab and shrimp, may mga seaweeds, bangus sisig, at inihaw na karne. The servings were big at pwede na sa mga magbabarkada.
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure." He said and handed me a plate with rice. Ako na ang naglagay ng mga ulam sa plato ko.
Ang sarap ng luto! Naparami tuloy ang kain ko at inaasar niya tuloy ako. I don't eat those kinds of food often so might as well eat a lot. Natawa rin tuloy ako sa sarili ko.
Bumalik kami sa hotel room at nagpalit ako ng one piece black bikini. Nagsuot ako ng white long sleeve cover up bago lumabas. Itinali ko rin iyong buhok kong medyo lagpas na sa balikat.
Pagkabukas ko sa pinto ay naroon si Jac at mukhang kakatok na. He smiled and put his hand down when he saw me.
Pumunta kami sa may lounge at nagpahid ako ng sunblock. He was just sitting at the sit next to mine. Hindi ko makita ang mata niya kasi nakasuot siya ng aviators.
But when I removed my cover up, his eyes immediately shifted on me. I saw how his adam's apple moved up and down.
Tumayo ako at iniabot sa kaniya iyong sunblock. My back was bare so I want him to put some sunbblock on my back.
Ibinaba niya iyong suot niyang aviators at tinaasan ako ng kilay. He just looked away and removed his aviators and slided it on his collar.
Umupo ako at naramdaman ko ang paglapat ng kamay niya sa likod ko. His hands were big and a bit rough against my soft back.
Nang matapos ay humarap ako sa kaniya. His tanned skin shined under the sun. Kaya naman kinuha ko yung sunblock sa kaniya.
"I'll put some on your back too," sambit ko and his eyes grew wide. What?
"I'm f-fine," he said and glanced at the guys who were eyeing me. Nagulat tuloy ako nang bigla niyang hubarin yung pang itaas niya at saka humiga nang padapa.
His back was so broad and toned. Halos hindi tuloy ako huminga habang nilalagyan siya ng sunblock sa likod.
"Hey, kung saan saan na pumupunta 'yang kamay mo," he chuckled. Nanlaki tuloy ang mata ko at nakita ang kamay ko na medyo malapit na sa pwet niya.
Para tuloy akong napaso at agad na inalis ang kamay sa pagkakahawak sa kaniya. Bumangon siya sa pagkakadapa at pinisil ang pisngi ko. I felt his arm on my waist and pulled me closer to him.
"Should I just wear my cover up?" I whispered in his ear. Ayaw ko namang mapaaway siya kasi ang dami ring napapasulyap sa gawi ko at medyo na-conscious din ako.
Nagulat ako nang tumayo siya at hinila ako. Nagpaagos lamang ako sa pag-tangay niya sa akin.
When we reached a certain spot where no one was around, he suddenly pushed me to the wall and hungrily kissed me.
I was a bit petrified but I managed to kiss him back. Unti unting bumagal iyong paghalik niya sa akin hanggang sa pinaglapat na lamang niya ang noo namin. We were both panting while staring into each other's eye.
Tumikhim siya at lumayo nang bahagya sa akin. Weirded out, I went nearer to him but he flinched when I touched his wrist.
"A-ayos ka lang? Are you mad?" I asked 'cause I don't know why he's acting like that.
"Just give me a sec," he whispered and run his fingers on his hair.
"Are you mad at me?" I asked and pulled him until he was facing me. Nagulat tuloy ako nung nakita kong namumula iyong pisngi niya.
"Touching me isn't helpful, Zea." He whispered and looked away. "I'm seriously turned on right now. So, please let me calm myself." He shyly said and took a step back.
Did I teased him? Napakagat tuloy ako sa pang ibabang labi ko at hindi rin alam ang gagawin.
"Want me to do something about that?" Halos pabulong kong sabi. He turned to me and didn't know what to say.
He groaned. "Raszea, your just making it worst!" He said and closed our gap and slammed his lips again on mine.
His kisses were so different, his hands roaming on my bare back. After a minute or so, I can't hold my breathe any longer so I pushed him a bit.
"Baka may makakita sa atin," bulong ko sa kaniya. His face were still red.
"Stay here," he said and hurriedly walked away. Ilang minuto akong nakatayo doon at nakakalma na rin.
He came back with his buttondown polo on. He handed me my cover up. Agad ko itong sinuot at nakita kong seryoso siyang nakatitig sa akin.
"Let's just go back to our hotel room," he said. "And please stop teasing me, I seriously don't want to be turned on while we're in public."
Tahimik kaming bumalik sa sariling kwarto namin sa hotel. It's really a good thing that we didn't shared the same room 'cause I don't want him to see my flushed face. What did I just do to him?
