Sam is still unconscious inside the panic room, but Bobby and Dean are set on getting the other angel here to see if he can't tell them where Castiel is going to be. Dean is just worried about you and his brother that he doesn't notice Balthazar popping in.
"Look what the cat dragged in," Bobby says when he noticed Dean not paying attention.
"Well, at least you mudfish finally got the angel-proofing right," he chuckles and looks around the room. "How's Sleeping Beauty? You didn't steal any kisses, I trust? And where is that little witch? Already giving birth?"
"What the hell took you so long?" Dean yells and walks to the angel.
Bobby stands between the human and the angel to prevent the human from doing something reckless.
"Honestly? I was having second thoughts."
"About?"
"About whether to help you. I was thinking maybe... maybe I should rip out your sticky bits instead."
"And what did you decide?" Bobby asks.
"Well," he pulls out a piece of paper and hands it to Bobby, "Cas and Crowley are there. That's where the show gets started."
Bobby opens the paper and reads the address. It's in Bootback, Kansas, a full five hours to travel. If Bobby leaves now, then he will make it in time.
"Alright, give him a minute to pack up and zap him there."
"Oh, no, no, no, no. I don't think so."
"Balthazar!"
"I'm betraying a friend here–a very powerful friend. We all are. So, I think I've stuck my neck out far enough already. Good luck."
The angel disappears, leaving the two men in the basement alone with comatose inside the panic room. Dean's phone rings before he has a chance to say anything, and when he sees it's you calling, he answers it immediately.
"Are you okay?" he asks.
"This is Ashley Brian, Y/N's nurse. She's in labor now. The baby is coming. She wishes for you to be here."
"Dean!!! Please!!" he hears you yell pain in the background.
"Go, Dean. I got this. I can make it in time," Bobby says when he hears you yell.
"I'm on my way," Dean says before hanging up.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"No, Dean isn't here yet," you yell in pain when you get another painful contraction.
"Y/N, this shot will take the pain away. Well, as much as it can before you start to push."
"Dean isn't here yet," you cry softly.
"I'm here!" Dean yells when he busts into the room.
You're red, sweaty, clearly in a lot of pain, but he's here. It somehow makes this all just a little better.
"Dean," you sob.
"I'm here. You're not alone anymore."
"They came for me, Dean. The demons."
"Y/N," he whispers and looks at the nurse who gets the shot ready.
"She knows. I had to tell her. I turned the other room into a nuke warzone with my magic. I killed them, but using that much magic started my labor, I think. Like for real."
"Okay, I need you to try and stay still as much as possible. It's going to hurt, but you'll feel better within five minutes," Ashley warns.
"Take my hand," you ask of Dean, and he does. "I'm sorry if I break any bones."
"We're in a hospital, I'll be fine," Dean chuckles.
Ashley helps you sit up so she can stick the long ass needle into your back between your vertebrae of your spine. She looks at you and counts down from three before sticking you with the needle.
"Son of a bitch!" you scream.
Magic shoots out of your hands and smacks right into the wall and window. It shatters the window and cracks the wall, but no one is concerned about that right now. You grip Dean's hand so hard, but he keeps a stoic face through it all. The pain is so bad right now, it feels like there is a burning sensation that is sliding down your back. You can't move, you're going through the worst contractions ever, and it totally sucks.
"Is it done?" you strain out.
"Honey, it's not even in. It's going in now," Ashley says.
She takes a small tube and threads it through the needle. She pushes the tube down your spine, and you just about ruined this room from how bad it hurt. It feels like your skin is peeling off your body. The needle is sliding down your back, and that's not natural.
"Dean, it hurts," you cry as you try to stay still.
"I know it does, but you have to stay strong. You're going to do great. It's just for a few more minutes. It'll be all over then," he tries to encourage.
The epidural shot takes about five minutes to work, and you start to feel your entire lower body go into numbness. Ashley takes out the tube and the needle before wiping your back of any blood that managed to escape.
"Okay, you can lay down now," she sighs.
Dean helps you lay down, and you let out a small whimper of pain.
"Where's Sam? My dad?"
"Let's not talk about that right now, okay? You just need to focus on getting our daughter here."
"Just tell me that they're okay," you ask of him.
"They're fine," he white-lies.
He can't afford you to be any more stressed than you are right now. You take a minute to breathe as you try to relax, but the moment is short-lived. Your baby drops down into your birth canal, and there is no amount of drugs that can take away this pain. She's only at the tip of the canal, but the more she moves, the more you feel like someone is splitting you open from the inside out. Even with the epidural, you can definitely feel this pain. You tip your head back and scream as loud as you can, and Dean just grabs your hand as if that will fix everything you're going through.
"I am going to get the OB now," Ashley says and leaves the room.
She pages the OB, Dr. Miranda Grayson, 911, and it doesn't take long for the doctor to get in here. She grabs some gloves and puts on a gown while Ashley and some other nurses prepare the room for once the baby comes.
"Okay, Y/N, it looks like you're ready to start pushing," she says and sits down in front of you.
"What can I do?" Dean asks her.
"Help her breathe and make sure she is relaxed. If she tenses up, it's only going to hurt more. Encourage her and be there for her. It's going to hurt, but try to make it hurt less," she advises.
"Okay, you hear that, Y/N? You have to breathe and try to relax," Dean says to you.
Dr. Grayson gets everything ready, and she slides your feet in the stirrups to prop you open. Your cervix looks like the size of a bagel you would get at a cafe. Your baby is finally ready to come, but you're not so sure you're prepared.
"Okay, Y/N, it's time to start pushing," Dr. Grayson says.
Dean hooks his left arm under your knee to keep your legs spread because he doesn't want to see what would happen if the baby was in the middle of coming, and you closed your legs. With his other hand, he holds your left hand. He is going to be there for you in every way that he knows he can be.
"Okay, Y/N, you have to start pushing," he says.
You take a deep breath and give the first push, screaming in pain as you try to get your daughter out of you.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bobby pulls up to the place where Crowley and Castiel are. He hopes they don't know he is already here because then he loses the element of surprise. He gets out of the car and takes out his binoculars to see who is inside the building and where. He spots at least a dozen or so angels just wandering around, acting as guard dogs for Castiel and Crowley. He has no clue how he's going to be able to take out that many angels, but he's hoping he doesn't have to. If he can somehow ninja his way in, then he can sneak past everyone and get to the gooey center.
He thinks more about this situation but pauses when he hears something in the distance. He turns and looks around to see if he can't identify where the source of the sound is coming from, but spots something on the ground. There is a puddle of water, and he can see it ripple every single time the vibrations are heard.
If he wasn't a hunter, he might have guessed a big T-Rex is heading his way, and that's why the water is rippling. But he is a hunter, so he knows it's a lot more dangerous than that. He could have sworn they were footsteps of a giant, until he sees exactly what is coming. There, in the sky, is a large cloud of black smoke. When it gets a little closer, he realizes that it's not a T-Rex, but demons. There are a ton of them rushing toward the building, and he high tails it and runs back to the car. He managed to start it, but the demons got to it before he could drive away.
The car flips over in the mess, and Bobby hits his head on the roof of the car. He's got no seatbelt on, so he's more injured than he hoped to be. He hits his head on the gear shift, and it knocks him out temporarily. The demons pass, and the car is silent, rocking on the roof, begging to be put back together. The car is smoking, the windows are busted, and the entire frame is out of place.
He knows he has to wake up... for Dean and Sam... for the entire world... for you and his granddaughter. He has to wake up and fight for those people, or it'll all be for nothing. All he has to do is wake up!!
WAKE UP!
Bobby's eyes slam open, and he breathes heavily. His body aches, but he has to pull through. Luckily, he doesn't need to bust the window open to get out, he'll just use one of the ones that are already broken. He slithers his way out of there and groans from the pain. He is truly getting too old for this, but once in this life, always in this life.
Since there are demons covering the front of the mansion, he has to take the back. He goes into stealth mode to get inside the house and around every angel that is inside, watching. The demons make it easy to sneak past them because the angels are watching them and taunting that they are on the inside and the demons are on the outside.
Bobby has learned a few things over the years about breaking and entering into a place, and that includes where not to step. Always stick close to the wall, make sure a room is clear before entering, and other tips and tricks. He believes the hoedown is happening in the main room, so he secretly opens the door and enters the room.
Raphael (still in a lady's body) and Crowley are the only ones inside the room. Crowley is performing the spell in front of the sigil that is on the wall right in front of him and the angel. They don't seem to notice him here, so he can use this to his advantage.
"Quarum ungulae et dentes, nunquam tetigerunt carnem humanam," Crowley chants.
Bobby takes this as an opportunity to try and get one over Raphael. He holds the handle of the angel blade and throws it at Raphael, hoping it would stick in his back. However, he catches it as it flies by his head, and he just widens his eyes in shock. Crowley and Raphael both turn to face Bobby, and it's Crowley who gets one over on Bobby.
He uses his demonic powers to fling Bobby down the flight of stairs, and he smirks when he knows he won't immediately get right back up. He has been working with Bobby and used his soul long enough to realize what the hunter can and can't handle.
"Bit busy, gentleman. Be with you in a moment," Crowley states.
