Taehyung winced as Jungkook dipped the cotton on corner of his bruised red blue swollen edge of scowling lips sitting on his lap facing him with unbothered concentrating on treating his wound.
Taehyung's hand are wrapped around him precautionary while jungkook's legs wrap around his hips before placing the used cotton and first aid kit on the bed of taehyung's room still at the tattoo shop
" Good, it's supposed to hurt "
Taehyung grins through the pain remembering how Jungkook punched him hard when he got to know that it's him
" I'm sorry darling "
Jungkook refuses to make eye contact turning his head sideways with clenched jaw unknowingly showing his jaw line and side profile to Taehyung who's admiring his features, he couldn't help it when his hands traced jungkook's cheekbone letting him sigh in defeat as Jungkook looks at him again with softer eyes than a moment ago
" Start explaining before I balance right side of your face too "
Taehyung chuckles though hesitation of knowing it's not an empty threat surged firmly in his mind
" I won't mind if it's by you "
He teases him but Jungkook noticed the faint blush on taehyung's cheeks making him raise an eyebrow of his own, arms crossed around his chest as his stares motivated him to speak with an imaginary gun pointed by side of his forehead
He pulls Jungkook closer taking him by surprise before hiding his head in crook of his neck taking a long breathe of his scent, the homely scent that he missed like crazy.
Jungkook also relaxed feeling equally overwhelmed and at ease as he brushes his fingers on now Taehyung's wavy black hair
" I missed you so much angel, I missed you so much it hurts "
Jungkook gives a lingering kiss on side of taehyung's forehead with a small breathy 'me too'
" I'm so glad that you still remember me "
Jungkook stayed quiet while his palm surged the warmth on Taehyung's back of head ,lightly scraping his scalp before finally questioning the question he believed he'll never get answer to in this life time at least
" What happened four years ago ? "
his voice is soft but he couldn't hold back the slight desperate bitterness mixed with heaviness for how much time they couldn't call their own.
" I started dying the moment we separated and I didn't had any regret for what I let happen , you weren't supposed to be in hell , to be with me
" My last memory of hell is taking my last breathe with a smile of no regrets with your drawing that stayed with me as your beautiful memory , shame I couldn't bring it with me .
Garry stayed by my side until the very end , such a weirdly sweet guy who cracked lame jokes on my death bed with tears and snot covering his face " Jungkook's lips twitched upwards while Taehyung had a fond grateful look in his eyes
" I wasn't supposed to be here nor was I supposed to exist in memories but here we are holding you and it feels like past is repeating itself for I still remember how my frozen heart quivered because of the twinkle in your eyes that for the first time guided my lost one for destination we both reached finally "
" oh Taehyung "
Jungkook sinked deeper in all lost feelings and cry of his heart he cradled with silent hush to not crack further that he can write , bleeding on the pages he wrote and wrote until his fingers felt numb with his emotions and hidden to go on with his life as if it never changed because of a imbecile of a mythical creature that thought possessing a soft toy is the best idea in his centuries of wisdom.
" I guess our love gave us a second chance " Jungkook whispered molding himself against Taehyung needing all the assurance with his arms around his neck , his weight settled on his lap, the hands around his waist , soft breathe on flesh of his neck with lingering sparks of kisses left on his face from his eyes , cheeks , forehead like whispers of reassurance that dripped with the sweet words they gifted each other
" Our second chance "
Taehyung whispered as their lips finally met with cry of reconciliation

Piri cried out when Jungkook stepped in the apartment with an apologetic smile as he held his ears between his index and thumb fingers and mumbled sorry standing like a bunny twitching his nose getting scolded at threshold outside the door for the world to see .
he didn't need to stand outside holding his ears for long because he know how his charms work breaking into a smile that he almost forgot he had , one that stretched wide resembling the fluff creature of his kind .
" You grown ass octopus you could have messaged"
maybe she's still angry as she stomped her way to kitchen in a blue apron , her hair as usual wrapped in a messy bun
" I'm sorry something came up , you'll need not worry about this anymore I assure you "
finally piri sighed leaning into the hug Jungkook offered
" I have someone I want you to meet " Jungkook bit down his lips
" oh when? " piri pushed back from hug to meet his doe gaze with curiosity after all it's been forever he bought anyone new home.
" Right now "
Jungkook winced in pain as she flicked his forehead . It Hurts
" ow ,wha-"
" you stupid why didn't you say this sooner , you made our guest wait outside "
piri scrambled toward the door ready to apologize for keeping their guest waiting on such cold dawn after the warm with Jungkook tailing behind her rubbing over his forehead with a pout
she pushed Jungkook to call them inside and he smiled wide making piri heart flutter seeing the rare sight of genuine smile he had years
piri smiled seeing a tall man hesitantly stepping inside from behind Jungkook wearing coat for the drop in temperature that made both her and Jungkook shiver who got accustomed to the warmth of their apartment
" Hello "
Taehyung didn't know what else to say after all their first encounter wasn't that pretty but his nerves relaxed a bit when the women enthusiastically greeted him and took him inside frantically apologizing for keeping him waiting .
In back of his mind some red flags sailed when he saw how Jungkook and piri interacted
Jungkook ran out of kitchen when piri threw a slipper that he barely managed to dodge flying over his head down the couch supposedly for messing something up and while he recoiled he didn't manage to dodge second bright yellow not-so-light slipper that hit his nose making him cry out in agony and crouch down in middle of hall cupping his nose while piri handed him napkin with a sweet sarcastic smile
They seem happy
He realizes that maybe he can't pay for all the lost time, Afterall who could blame any of them they didn't know or even had slightest hope that they'll meet again so it's understandable that Jungkook moved on or at least settled
He should step back
He can't just suddenly enter his life, maybe they can stay as friends at least. He Hopes so
Taehyung sits silently on the couch alone with his thoughts when finally his angel comes with his bright smile and comically red nose plopping beside him with a loud 'oof' tired to his appendix.
Taehyung hesitates only for a moment before asking
" Are you and her together? "
Jungkook tilts his head back looking at him with unreadable expression but stoic, his lips pressed into a thin line any sign of previous smile and playfulness gone
Oh.
It didn't take long for Taehyung to realize ,unconsciously his hand rest over his chest over his beating heart that feels alone in prickling pain bleeding in form of threatening tears that he holds back by resting his head back on couch looking up the ceiling blinking rapidly as he smiles
" I'm glad you found someone , I really am "
That's how their conversation ended with a interrupting ding of door which piri rushed to attend
Taehyung didn't move nor Jungkook sitting in awkward silence until he heard another voice that Taehyung's gaze went searching for and his jaw dropped
Jimin and piri are kissing
On lips. Hands on each others neck and waist while giggling and rubbing their noses playfully against each other as if they are.... They are together
Oh. OH
Taehyung's head snapped toward Jungkook in disbelief who's been silent whole time only to find him biting his palm to muffle the laugh that his whole face is turning red and looks at the verge of passing out by lack of oxygen
Jungkook wasn't looking at his direction to not laugh but one look at Taehyung's slackened jaw and comical face he burst out in concerning wheezes of laugh holding his stomach almost toppling over himself down the ground
Jimin and 'his wife' didn't battle an eye lash on laughing dying Jungkook who took his sweet time to calm down and breathing heavily between his heavy stretched smile that made his cheek hurt , barely managing to let his words out
" Pay back bitch "
Taehyung didn't know how to react, he almost went depressed but eventually he almost screams in frustration though it's adorable to others speaking with wide eyes and pout
" God, you're so evil, you demon "
On this Jungkook resumed laughing leaving a whiny taehyung who begged him for attention who kept complaining about how he almost cried on stranger's couch and it's so unfair
The couple already went pass them along with a short greeting of jimin and taehyung who know they will catch up with a good formal greeting later because maybe taehyung don't know but jimin would like to know that he's the Teddy bear and have a long friendly conversation
Who knows maybe jimin won't murder him and they'll both get along
But the angel in front of him who's smiling so wide with pure adoration and mischief in his eyes giving him his tooth grin for getting back at him.
Taehyung realizes at this moment surrounded with maple leaf print on walls and maple tree standing tall and majestically with innocence outside the window with the heavenly glow of afternoon making trace of halo behind Jungkook who leans forward to press their lips together feeling his smile against his own lips that he reciprocate that
For their love they never gave up on each other. Not Even Once

It feels a bit weird writing last author's note for this story
But I'm so thankful for you my love for reading ,enjoying, commenting, voting on my story , it meant a lot, it means a lot
On serious note I'll take down this book in future
I'll rewrite this whole story for I'm not satisfied with how it turned out , I didn't give my full hundred percent to this for getting busy in my life, so I'll rewrite this with a calm cool feeling again, I just hope no comments will go missing when I'll republish it
I'll publish the new story in future and since people voted most on mythical sea creature ( and I'm surprised I thought you'll be bored by reading this type of genre by me )
