Fred George Angie and I were walking to the courtyard is was a Saturday and we all decided we needed a break from the homework we got piled with.
"So what do you think about that Cedric" she asked me
"What do you mean" I answered
"Come on you can't deny he is very good looking" she winked
"Well ye I guess but what does that have to do with me?" I asked confusion all over my face
"Come on its clear he has a thing for you" she teased while bumping my shoulder
"What no he doesn't" I answer back quickly
"Ye right, hey Fred, George doesn't Cedric have a thing for violet" she asked the two red heads next to us
"W-What makes you think that" George stammered
"He always looks at her when she's doing something he always try's to speak to her in lessons he always blushes when she sees him looking" she listed
"That does seem reliable" Fred answered
"I know it's reliable" Angie stated
"How?" I ask
"It's exactly what Alicia does to George" she shrugged her shoulders
"Sorry what" I ask a taken back
"Ye, how do none of you notice when people have crushes it's obvious" Angie rolled her eyes
"She does not have a crush on me" George stated red covering his cheeks
"Thinking about it it's quite obvious" Fred rubbed his chin
"And you like her back" Angie smirked
I stood back pain ripping in my heart dropping it to my stomach
"No I don't wtf Angie where did you get that from" George started to get angry
"Yes you do George look at you, you went red and you're getting defensive" she giggled
"It's because you're pissing me off!" He shouted at her
"Because you don't want to admit it" Angie hissed her mood suddenly changing
Tears started to cloud my vision, it can't be true he-he- he was going to kiss me I thought he liked me..
I stepped back turning around and walking off done with this conversation
"Where are you going" Fred shouted at me
"I forgot I had to go to the library" I shouted back covering the sob that was threatening to come out
I was walking to the library when I bumped into Percy who seemed stressed
"You alright perc?" I ask him
"Ye i guess, it's Ginny she's been in shatters after Mrs Norris was petrified" he rubbed his temples
"She does love cats" I answered back thoughtfully
"I've been trying to speak to her to calm her down but she won't listen to me" he said frowning
"Let me try" I smiled at him noticing how upset he is
"You sure?" He asked a light in his eyes
"Of course where did she go?" I asked
"To her dorm room" he answered
I turn to go to where Ginny was said to be when Percy spoke up again
"Thank you violet, seriously these past 4 years all of us weasleys have been happier especially the twins" he sincerly spoke looking down
"Hey it's okay you lot have made me the happiest I've ever been" I walked over to him and hugged him and he hugged me back happily.
I walked away going to find ginny and he was right she was in her dorm, I knocked on the door
"Who is it" she sniffed
"It's me gin can I come in?" I asked
"Ye" she quickly answered
I walked in and closed the door behind me, she was sitting on her bed up against the headboard knees tucked to her chest head in her arms crying, I walked over and sat next to her placing my hand on her arm
"What's the matter" I softly ask
She buried her head farther into her arms
"Is it Mrs Norris?" I question
She nods her head, I move to sit next to her and place my arm around her shoulder, she buries her head into my chest and sobs,
"I know it's hard Ginny especially it being your first year this doesn't happen usually I promise, Hogwarts is safe it's your second home you have all your siblings and I to look after you here, we love you and no matter what happens we will protect you as much as we can" I stroked her head while saying all of this
She looks up at me and smiles "thank you"
"It's okay" I wipe away her tears and stand up
"Come on go splash your face with water and come down for lunch okay" I say
"Okay" she whispers and walks over to the bathroom
While she's washing her face I walk around her dorm it's weird seeing the rooms with 4 beds in I'm so used to just my one double bed, I trace my fingers along her dresser and it falls on a black journal lying there
"Weird that's not Ginny's aesthetic at all" I whisper shrugging
I turn around when I hear the bathroom door opening revealing Ginny, I walk over and drape my arm around her shoulder
"Let's goooo" I chant
She giggles and we make our way to lunch, we walk into the great hall and sit down by the Weasley's, she sits on my right, George is on my left, Fred directly in front of me, Harry next to him in front of Ginny and Percy the other side of Fred
Percy looks and me and smiles, Ginny is smiling for the first time since Mrs Norris was petrified, I smile back and turn to Fred
"Where's angie?" I ask
"Refused to sit with us after George blew up at her" he covered a laugh at George's scowl
I lowered my head and looked down remembering the argument that happened earlier, I picked up a sandwich and took a bite out of it
"She will be back" I answered swallowing my food
"Let's hope not" George whispered
I turned to him with shock covering my face
"What" he asked looking down
"That's horrible to say" I say shocked
"Ye well she shouldn't of accused me of something that isn't even remotely true" he hissed
"She probably wouldn't of accused you if you didn't show signs of liking her" I spat back
He threw his food down and turned to me anger in his eyes
"Why don't you go fuck off to lover boy Cedric" he lowly shouted
"Wtf is that supposed to mean" I gasped
"Oh come on he's good looking isn't he, at least that's what you said earlier!" He tried to lower his voice to others wouldn't hear, this of course didn't include the rest of the Weasley's
"I think he's good looking doesn't mean I want to fuck him any chance I get" I start shaking from the anger
I turn to Fred and Hermione who started gasping
"What" I hiss at them
"Your eyes Violet they are turning red" they whisper
"What" I grab Ginny's mirror out of her robe pocket and see my eyes are red
I drop the mirror and run out of the great hall making sure to glare at George in the process
I'm too angry at him...no I'm not I'm jealous he could like Alicia.. and I'm using anger as a coping mechanism
