Red went to school the next day.
Of course his mother came with him.
Wearing all expensive brands from head to toe.
April feels more relax being enveloped in this good feeling.
Last day, Richard's stepmom disturb her peaceful time but Richard didn't call to reprimand her instead to show his support to her.
It's the best feeling when you know you are not a real Madame but treated as one.
"So happy?" Red pouts.
He is glad she is happy but she is grinning to much.
April pinched her cheek.
"Go to your wife now. I will just say hi to your teacher."
"!!" Red angrily turn around leaving her.
April grins and wear her sunglasses again and walk to the teacher's faculty room.
After a small chit chat with the other parents and the teacher they left.
April, no longer need to work.
She has monthly allowance as the 'Madam' of the Argos house.
So what else would she do?
Of course, she will invest in her family's business. The larger their business. The better.
How long will she be a Madam? Only 5 years.
If she can extend it then good. But all good things will end eventually.
So she needs to make more good stuff for her and her family.
"Mom, Dad, I'm home."
There is no husband or son to take care of at home. There is no need to stay in the house and pretend to be a tiger guarding her abode.
"What are you doing here?" Her father asks frowning.
Unlike her expensive aura from before.
Wearing her old denim jumper,fitted white shirt inside and red rubber shoes. She looks 5 or more years younger with her hair parted and both side braided loose hair resting in her chest.
One hook of her jumper is onpurposely unhooked for her own style.
Obviously she is mid 20's already. Yet so young looking.
Her father snorted.
Seeing her trying to look younger.
"Why else? I will be the saleslady. Remember, I still hold the highest sale record when I am in charge."
She said, flashing her dimples.
"Oh my daughter is so beautiful." Her mother praises her.
"Beautiful." Obviously the evil dad still want to object but if someone really says his daughter is ugly he will go mad in anger.
"Of course. I look like mom so I am beautiful."
April grins.
Her mother hits her shoulder loud.
"Why are you here April?" Her mother asks after all the greetings.
"Well, I am bored at home so I came to help. Red is at school until 5 so I really have alot of time."
"Then work." Her father said.
"Yes Dad~ Mom, why is dad being such a snob? Did he fell out the bed again?"
"Just concerned about you. Sweetheart, don't always confuse reprimanding for love. It is unsightly for old people to be too embarrassing."
April laughs.
Her father sighs.
Still, the one who is the most powerful is her mother.
"Did you eat lunch?" Her father ask him.
"Not yet." It's only 10:30am. Too early for lunch. But since her parents always come to the market to tend to their fruit stand, they eat very early breakfast and get hungry earlier so they ate around 10, the latest would be 11am.
They have food prepared from morning to eat in the afternoon. After April got food poisoning after eating at the school fieldtrip before her parents already have a habit not to buy food outside and just packed lunch.
It will be cold and not as good as hot meal but it is better than food poisoning.
Her father give her food and a plastic gloves you usually use to prepare food.
She ate sitting near her mother inside the fruit stand.
She is still seen outside but she doesn't care as she use her hand(with plastic gloves) to eat the [sinaing na tulingan sa gata] and some cold rice.
She is so pretty and her skin looks so delicate that she stands out in the row of fruit stands vendor.
She looks like a foreigner beauty and lots of men want to stare at her.
She is eating using hand and her food is not that different from them but why is she so visually glowing?
Of course April knows her own charm.
She doesn't mind people staring.
She used to spend most of her allowance and even deprived herself for buying new dress to buy good cream and and lotion to take care of her skin.
Of course she will be beautiful.
Lots of customer who doesn't intend to buy but get a chance to look at her needs to buy as her parents assist them enthusiastically.
This can also be called team effort.
Her effort is attracting customer to come.
Her parents are to make them unable to walk away without buying.
Even her strict father will turn into an approachable salesman in front of customer.
This kind of thing is easy for her parents.
When she is done eating, she went to wash her mouth. Since she has nothing to brush her mouth. She just rinse with water the fishy smell and ate a mint candy.
People working on the wet market are not that particular.
Sides who would smell your mouth.
But since April is maintaining her elegant demeanor, she often brush her teeth here before.
Lots of women selling on fish, meat,vegetable and fruit stand section have lots of disatisfaction with her and always find her an eyesore.
April can care less.
Just flipping her hair makes other woman wish she is dead.
'Dare to hate me for being beautiful but doesn't even try to improved yourself? Who said being beautiful is easy? You need effort, time and consistency.' She snorts inside.
"Hey!" April looks at Fredo.
Her former suitor that she flat out rejected the moment he confessed.
"Ey, how are you?" She smiles at him.
"Like always. How are you? I heard you got m-married?" Fredo asks.
April smiles and flash her wedding ring with confidence.
Fredo wryly smiles.
"Oh...That's good."
April nods.
Fredo is also a son of a vendor in this wet market.
They sell vegetables and their store is larger and has more customers.
Fredo is a good boy and they grow up almost together in this place.
They are not very close but since there are few kids they are somehow childhood buddies.
As someone like April who always has her high goals.
Fredo will never enter her strike zone.
Still, she is not to hurt a good friend.
For her flat out rejecting him will help him more since he will not delude himself of a thought that she will ever like him.
A woman wraps her hand around Fredo's waist.
"What are you staring at?" The woman glares at April.
April raised a brow.
She grows up here.
What kind of fight she can't do with high and rich people, she can easily do here in her territory.
"What am I looking at?" She repeated
The girl is also one of the childhood frie--frenemy she has as she grows up. She always try to irk April and steal all attention from her. April will never be outdone by her though.
"Maya, stop. I am just catching up with April. Do you really have to sound like this?" Fredo removes the woman's arms around his waist.
And said.
The woman pouts.
"Is that so? I thought some gold digger can't scratched her own itch try to rub on you." The woman sneers.
"What. Did. You. SAY?" April grabs her hair and the fight starts.
April will never fight in her work place or in front of important people.
But it doesn't mean she never fight before.

Fredo grabs April waist carrying her away as she try to go and kicked that woman away.
"You think I am afraid of you! I will scratch your face till you disappear!" She shouted.
"APRIL!"
April flinched.
Her hair is a bit messy and a man holding her waist tight.
With how she is flailing and how the woman fight her. She didn't notice her smooth cleavage is in full view.
Richard is clenching his fist so tight that his phone cracks.
"H-husband?"
The awkward noisy atmosphere become quiet.
But suddenly April Mom shouted so loud and run to hit Maya with a broom stick.
Maya's mother also came and another fight happen.
This is not the first time and the other vendors know that the two family have long history.
But since it is always this Maya girl who is not good.
Nobody but their family friend side them.
Almost everyone side with April and her family.
April knows what will be the end of this but how can her husband who is not supposedly back here to see this unsightly thing!
April bites her lower lip.
