The source of unrest does not lie outside...

It lies inside those who can't see...

Those who can't speak...

And those who can't sing their grievances...

Two weeks has past since the mayor's notice. The people are agitated as a result. Some are eager to see the Infected leave, while others try to sympathize with them to no avail. There is such a strange atmosphere in the air that it is slowly suffocating everyone. The entire city was threatening to burst like a tinderbox waiting to be ignited.

The uninfected were gathered in the city square yelling in front of the mayor's quarters. According to Haley's words, they were chanting: "Free this town of the Infected! Get rid of them! We want OUR jobs back! Why are they even here?!"

She almost got caught at the scene...

Pastel is currently moving along the Northwest Tundra, the harshest strip of land in all of Ursus. A few cities reside along the outskirts of the tundra while a multitude of villages reside inside it. It's the perfect place to freeze to death, and it provides a temporary refuge for the desperate few. It's cold weather was slowly creeping into the city.

And one thing to take into consideration, there was no city near Pastel...

In fact, based on the information Lucas procured, the mayor of Pastel did not make contact with any other mayor except for the one in Felizon, the neighboring village. There was no city willing to take in any Infected. The mayor's plan was nothing but a façade.

Now everyone's waiting for their upcoming eviction...

"And this will be a true test of leadership for this hapless individual...'

"I know she can hear me. She cannot deny it.'

"Denial would mean that she is willing to forfeit everything before her."

In the meantime, I spoke to Lucas regarding the Reunion's next move. So far, we made no progress. For two weeks we tried to reach a compromise with the mayor, and after a few failed negotiations, we were left alone in a ring full of angry onlookers. Now we organized all of our supplies and tried to move the Infected away from the city center.

The Ursus army presence grew as well. Crownslayer said that they were stationed at the other side of town, but they keep crawling closer and closer to the Infected often with scornful faces. More and more Infected flocked to the Reunion for protection, but we don't have adequate soldiers nor do we have anyone to lead them. As for the exact number of people under its care, I do not know.

And today, I woke up to the sound of an anxious Haley, the smell of an impending storm, and the sight of my old Ursus uniform - from my days in Kashchey. It had the traditional, sleek shirt along with epaulettes, belts and smooth cufflinks along with an authoritative feel - one can easily discern the tailor's style .A sense of pride fills me whenever I'm wearing it.
