Long story short you liked Derek and Derek liked you but neither of you had told the other, you were best friends and had a flirty kind of friendship
The pack said on multiple occasions that you two would be good for one another but you both would brush it off
Recently it's been harder and harder to brush your feeling aside, that's at first you decided to avoid Derek, missing pack meetings and pairing up with others on missions etc
Derek was becoming frustrated as he couldn't understand why you were avoiding him so he decided to get you alone
He sent Isaac in a rush to your house to say something was wrong with Derek and to rush over to his loft
You jumped into your car and raced over you jumped out of the car and as you walked over to the door you heard Derek heart racing you open the door and run inside
To find him sitting on the table in front of the window
"Derek what's going on, Issac said something was wrong," you say in a slight panic slowly realising what was happening
"I want to get you alone to ask you why you've been avoiding me," he asks looking over at you
"I haven't .." you start but he gets angry
"Stop lying, every time you're near me you hear races and you pick someone else to go with when we split up you haven't been to pack meetings ..... what did I do?" He calms down his voice at the end soft and sad
You walk over to him and stand in between his legs and hug him tightly and he hugs back you pull away and look at him in the eye and think ah why not
You lean in a kiss him he is shocked at first but very quickly kisses back with so much passion
"So does that explain why I've been avoiding you" you smile looking up at him
"Yes, but why didn't you just tell me ?" He asks stroking your head behind your ear
"Why didn't you tell me, Derek Hale," you ask sarcastically
"Fair point, anyways so ?" Derek starts to get awkward again
"Hale just shut up and kiss me," you say grabbing his shirt and pulling him to you for another kiss
Derek picks you up turns around and lays you on the table and continues to kiss you, you both continue to make out until the loft door swings open causing you both to jump, Peter walks in and realised what he has just interrupted and starts to back out with his hands up in defence
"omg sorry I'm mean yay but sorry ill erm come back later" he backs away and leaves
you and Derek just laugh, out of all the people who could have burst in it had to be the person all called it when you first met.
