Chapter 36

Sidharth has just dropped Shehnaaz off to the hospital. He has been planning for her special day for the past 2 days now. Life was back to normal, he had shifted himself temporarily in her house until her family comes back, Sunidhi's image was totally destroyed in the industry and she was getting trolled for her cheap stunt that she had pulled on Sidharth, while Sidhearts was in full support of Sidharth to reply back to some of the haters trying to defame Sidharth. He was staying away from social media because of this negativity and was only focusing on making her birthday a special one.

Shehnaaz - Finally, apke discharge papers ready ho rahe hae phir ap ghar ja sakte hae (She said passing a gloomy smile at that old lady who was sitting on the edge of the hospital bed)

Old lady - Thank you beta.... Tuni meri itne care ke hae ke mujhe thik toh hona he tha. (She said with moist eyes)

Shehnaaz - Yeh toh mera kaam hae Dadi Amma.... Ab aise sad sad baate mat Karo please..... Ap toh ab meri family jaise ho gae ho. (She hugged her tightly)

Old lady - Tu aana mere se milne, mai bhi Divya ko bolu ge mujhe tere se milane aaya Kare. (She smiled)

Shehnaaz - Haan zarur....

Divya - Dadi Chalo chalte hae apke discharge papers ban gae hae. (She said entering the room but she couldn't meet her eyes with Shehnaaz out of guilt)

Shehnaaz - Divya.... Can we talk?

Divya's face gave clear expression of guilt and nervousness.

Divya - Haan... Ha... Vo... Bas mai aati hu dadi ke bahar car tak chor ke. (She stuttered)

Shehnaaz - Okay.... Chalo dadi amma, aage se dhayn rakhna yeh na ho wapes mere pass yaha aana pad jaye.... Mai mila karu ge apse. (She smiled and hugged her)

Divya and Shehnaaz both helped her out to the car and made her sit inside.

Divya - Dr. Shehnaaz thank you for everything and I'm really sorry..... I know I don't deserve......

Shehnaaz - It's ok Divya.... (She cuts her in between) Tumhara change of heart ny hota aur tum Sidharth ko sara sach ny batati toh shayad Sunidhi abhi tak pata ny aur kya Kya kar sakte thi.... I'm just happy ke ab Sab thik hae.... (She smiles)

Divya - Thank you so much doctor apko ny pata mai kitna guilty feel kar rahi thi .... I'm happy for Sidharth ke uske life mei ap ho..... You both truly deserve each other.... All the best for your life.

Shehnaaz - thank you.... Chalo then Take care aur meri Dadi Amma ka dhyan rakhna (She giggled)

Divya - Yeah sure. Bye.

Shehnaaz again got busy in her work and the day passed by in a blink. Sidharth had just ended the call with Rahul while waiting for Shehnaaz in his car when he saw her running towards the car excitedly.

Shehnaaz - Kullu (She cooed hugging him tightly)

He hugged her back. They were on their way back home.

Sidharth - How was your day baby? (He asked, his gaze fixed at the front as he was driving)

Shehnaaz - Sad. (She replied with a sad pout)

Sidharth - why sad baby? Why not happy?

Shehnaaz - Happy and sad both.

Sidharth - Is that so? Okay then tell me why sad and why happy?

Shehnaaz - Sad cause.... Dadi Amma got discharged from the hospital.... and happy for the same reason. (She said in her cute wired accent)

Sidharth - (Laughed at her cute accent) Don't be sad baby.... Be happy I'm here with you. (He said pressing her hand slightly and looking at her for a second before again focusing on his driving)

Shehnaaz - Hayee Sidharth abhi yeh apni English class band kar yaar mera Sachi mood off bhi hae aur khush bhi hu. (She whined)

Sidharth - Abey yaar dono kaise ho sakta hae? Ek baat bol.

Shehnaaz - Mai bol rahe hu na..... Dekh vo Dadi chal gae toh mujhe acha lagna chahiye but unse emotional attachment ho gae thi meri na toh ab Unko miss bhi karu ge.

Sidharth - Aww mera baby (He took her hand and kissed her knuckles).... Dekh yeh toh achi baat hae na vo thik ho kar chal gae aur tujhe jab bhi milna ho tu mil sakte hae.

Shehnaaz - Meri Divya se bhi baat hue aaj, Usne sorry bola maine maaf kar diya. (She smiled)

Sidharth - mujhe pata tha sweetheart.... Jiska dil saaf hota hae na vo dusro ko maaf kar he dete hae.

Shehnaaz - Itna bhi dil saaf ny hae mera, vo Sunidhi aaj bhi mere saamne aa jaye na toh muh tod dungi uska mai. (She that gritting her teeth)

Sidharth -(Laughed) Haan tu toh shera wali maata hae na.

Shehnaaz - (Laughed) Haan!!

As they reached home, Shehnaaz went to prepare something to eat for them while Sidharth stole some time to talk with Rahul about her birthday preparation secretly away from her in the balcony.

Sidharth - Haan maine Sab udhar par baat kar le hae udhar ka Sab set hae.

Rahul - Maine bhi sab Kar liya jo tuni bola tha.

Sidharth - All set, bas ab Parso Sab sahi se ho jaye.... Yaar but it's falling Monday vo apna hospital jana toh ny chore ge.

Rahul - she has changed a lot bro.

Sidharth - Exactly yaar.... I remember Apne birthday se ek week pehle se he chalu ho jata tha uska aur iss bar Usne ek bar bhi yeh topic ny uthaya.... Pechle 5 saal ka pata ny but ab se aage future mei she'll always have the best birthday ever.

Rahul - She deserves it.

Sidharth - She deserves every bit of happiness (He smiled)

Shehnaaz - Sidharth kaha hae!? Aaja khana thanda ho jaye ga. (She shouts from the kitchen)

Sidharth - Abey chal mai rakhta hu yaar ab.... Bahar se bulawa aa gaya hae.

Rahul - Haan beta sahi hae ab tu bhi Kise se darne laga hae other then Aunty..... Sahi hae.

Sidharth - Kamine!.... Chal rakhta hu bye.

Shehnaaz - Sidharth!? (She shouts again a little louder this time showing her annoyance)

Sidharth - Aa gaya baby.... Chal khana kha lete hae (He said as he entered the dinning room)

Post dinner both were layed down on the bed while talking about random stuffs. Sidharth was waiting for Shehnaaz to mention something about her birthday or try to hint him about it but all in vain. She went silent for a moment and her expression went serious then se finally spoke.

Shehnaaz - Tujhe pata hae Sidharth mai jab Sab yaha se chor kar chale gae thi na toh pehle toh bohot darr lag raha tha bohot akela sa feel ho raha tha waha par. (Her voice chocked in between as tears welled up in her big beautiful eyes)

Sidharth - Shehnaaz please roo mat.... Mai force ny kar raha baby..... Mujhe ny janna it's ok sab past mei chor de.

Shehnaaz - Nahi Sidharth aaj bolne de, mere ander bohot time se bhara pada hae Sab..... maine Kise ko ny bola par ab toh hum ek hae na toh tujhe toh janne ka Haq hae pura (She smiled with her teary eyes and continued) ..... Delhi jaana ke baad mujhe bohot akela feel hua bohot guilty feel karte thi tujhe bina bataye chor kar jaane ke liye mujhe pata tha tu bohot hurt hua tha par maine tujhe bataya hae mere Mann mei uss time Kya Chal raha tha..... Riya, Mayank aur Jiya ne bohot sath diya hae mera..... Ek time ke baad mummy papa ne bhi maaf kar diya par phir bhi ek chiz mujhe daily khati thi ke mai tere life ka hissa ny thi..... Mai tere se related saare news padhte thi, saare ke saare advertisement, serials aur music videos dekhti thi..... Mai  wapes bhi iss liye ny aana chahti thi waha se kyuki tujhe face karne ke himmat ny thi but hamme milna tha toh hum mil gae..... Ab dekh tu mere pass hae mere sath (She said intertwining her fingers with his and smiled as tears rolled down her pretty face)

Sidharth had nothing to say, he simply caged her in his arms and pecked her forehead. He knew she had suffered equally without him. They both deserved happiness, his was already in his embrace at the moment which he would never let go of. That moment he made an promise to himself to love this girl more than she could imagine and never let a single drop of tear shed from her eyes.
