We have to work together to create a better future for the generations that stand here today as well as those who will stand here tomorrow.
We need to fix the future.
This violence and racism CANNOT be allowed to continue.
Why can you not see past my skin?
Why is my color a sin and yet you praise rainbows for their tranquil beauty?
Why am I to be kneeled on for making a legal purchase, while killers and mass shooters are protected?
Why does my life offend your way of living?
How does viewing me this way make you feel better about yourself?
Why prosecute me for pigment and cuff me for color, things I cannot control?
Would my damnation please you?
Would my corpse amuse you?
Would my tears and blood lain on the street become your favorite reality TV show in sick entertainment?
Am I nothing more than the outlines on your coloring book, my only significant standing as a means for you to maintain control of the picture?
Does my life have a price?
If I am not human, as you say I'm not, then what the hell am I?
