What do I even expect from you?

Some people have their own ways of proving their worth, but in the first place, you shouldn't be proving your worth to other people, because it is just a waste if you, yourself don't acknowledge your worth plus why would you? To please them? Then don't.

And the dream I had earlier was all about that thing.

Worth.

In my case, I know mine. I know my worth as a daughter, as a friend, and as someone special to Rocky.

God. I still can't believe that I am now dating my best friend.

But who am I to doubt? Liv was right all along and I, myself just found out that I was also feeling the same thing for Rocky. Maybe I was so used to him being around, that's why it was easy to have feelings for him.

"Indie, you didn't notify me that you're coming here," my older cousin, Kuya Drei welcomed me into his house. "You didn't send me a text."

"I'm sorry," I apologetically smiled at him. "This is also abrupt. I had a free cut today, that's why I'm here."

"You traveled alone? Where's your boyfriend?" he questioned while we're walking on the way to his living room.

"How'd you know about that?"

"Tita and Tito are kinda... talkative," he shrugged.

I shook my head before I sat on the couch.

"So, why are you here exactly?"

"I'm here to... return this to you," I got out the reviewers Dad borrowed to him before. He got it from me before he accusingly looks at me.

"What?" I asked.

"Already done?"

I nodded at him.

"You photocopied?" he supposed.

"Nope," I shook my head. "I read all of those and wrote the important stuff."

"Are you serious?"

"Do I look like I am joking, Kuya?"

"Do you even have something else to do? Are you just studying?"

He put the review materials on the coffee table in front of us before he sat on the couch adjacent to mine as he crosses his arms and looks at me sternly.

"What else should I do?" I chortled.

"Obviously little cousin, you're a student," he stated. "But that doesn't mean that you should revolve your life around it. There's a life to be lived out there, out of that box, live it while you still can, and don't miss out."

"I'm not missing out Kuya," I opposed. "In fact, I'm catching up. College is coming in a few months and I have to come up with a course sooner or later. That should be the thing I won't miss out on."

"Indie," he called. "Are you still undecided?"

I couldn't respond to his question. I was dumbfounded, caught off guard. He just hit the right target.

"If you're still undecided, don't enroll," he noted. "Don't get yourself into a program that you will not enjoy. I am telling you this as a graduating college guy, I entered a program that I know in myself that I will enjoy, and I have witnessed some of my bloc mates who are suffering because they didn't like what they're doing or where they're into and it's not because they got tired of the program, because everyone does get tired.

Their reason was, they get into college, into a program, because they have to. I need to get to college because if not, I'll be missing out with my friend, batchmates. I am telling you Indie, you're not just gonna waste your time, but you're also going to waste money. College tuition is no joke, to be honest.

"So I am telling you, if you're still undecided, don't enroll. No one's rushing you to do so. I bet your parents are not even rushing you. So find your strengths, your likes, and what you enjoy doing. We have our own different timelines. We have our own worth-it moments. Remember that."
