James' POV
Some people said I should mark her but I don't want to do anything unless she agrees. Who knows if she wants to reject me or not?
I got up and I looked over to her bed and it was empty.
My eyebrows furrowed in confusion as to why she wasn't in her bed but when a thin frame in football shorts and a big T-shirt walked in through the door with my mother in tow I understood.
I got up from the couch and walked over to her taking her from my mother's arm and pulling her into mine. She looked thin, malnourished even, but it was self explanatory due to her conditions.
She's been shifting for an entire week with no eat and barely any sleep so it's expected that she'd be tired.
I spoke to my mother about getting Grace something to eat then sat back on the couch with her in my laps.
Seconds later her thin fingers grabbed against my shirt and she fell asleep just that way. With all her muscles tensed.
