Maria giggled.

“Well, ano pa nga ba? It runs in the blood,” he breezily said and runs his fingers through his hair that made me and Maria burst into laughter.

After the scene in the NeoBar, when I told him that I can't hide what I'm feeling towards him he became more playful around me. And since then, we've been continously texting each other. I remember asking him last night why he didn't have any social media accounts, ang sagot niya ay wala naman daw siyang paggagamitan at hindi din siya marunong. I told him na importante iyon but he just shrugged his shoulders.

“Hey, Sugar.”

I pouted to restrain myself from smiling because of his endearment. I'm already thinking what I should call him. Dapat sweet din. Is Honey okay? Or Chocolate? Candy? Jam? Leche plan?

Nah. Mag-iisip na lang ako ng iba pa.

“Hi.” I smiled.

“Sa atin sasabay si Ate Mia, Kuya!” Maria exclaimed, giggling.

He raised a brow as he looked at me.

“Yeah. Manong Jude's son was sent to the hospital because of dengue,” I explained.

“Talaga?” he asked worriedly and I nodded. “Ganoon ba?

I was about to sit on Dominic's back when he blocked his arm in the space behind him to stop me. Nagtatatakang bumaling ako sa kanya.

“Hindi,” he said, slightly shaking his head. It's safer there.”

“Yayakap na lang ako sa 'yo para hindi ako mahulog if that's what you are worried about.”

He bit his lower. “Mauusukan ka lang dito sa labas.”

“I don't care, okay? Magbibihis na lang ako mamaya.” My brows knitted when he still shook his head. “What?”

“I won't allow you, okay? Look at your skirt—”

“What's wrong with my skirt!?” I immediately reacted.

“Well, it's too short." His jaw clenched as his eyes glared at my uniform na parang may ginawa itong masama sa kanya.

I gasped. “It's just normal. I argued, also glaring at him.

We both glared at each other.

Ayaw kong makipag-sapakan sa araw ng birthday ni Mama, okay?” he explained with gentleness on his dark gray orbs like his wooing me.

“Fine.” I breathe.

Gaya ng sabi ni Dominic ay pumunta muna kami sa bayan to pick up Tita Yrel's ordered fabrics for the gown she was going to make. I was looking at Dominic's direction from time to time and watched how his hair moves against the wild wind and how his brows knitted. I was amazed by every move he makes and realize that he can easily drive me crazy. I blushed when I saw Maria looking at me with her teasing smile. Like she's telling me through her eyes that she caught me ogling at her brother.
