The snow is falling slightly lesser than before, but the freezing temperature remains unchanged. The skies were pitched black with not a moon nor stars' insight. The street lights illuminated with needle-shaped icicles below them. The roads were empty with not a car for miles away. And the streets are covered in a blanket of snow.
Standing in the center of a small flight of stairs that lead towards the beach was Aiden.

He was on his way home from a party of a new friend he had met earlier. He was passing by the beach and stayed a little longer to take in the mind soothing music of the waves crashing against the shores.
The chilly weather made the atmosphere even colder, but thanks to his thick winter parkas, he was comfortable. He pushes back the hood of his parkas to feel the chilling air through his hair while breathing in the freshness of his surroundings.
Though it was dark and there's no one around, he could see the ghost of him and his friend, Cole, having fun at the beach. There's a scene where they were deciding on which popsicle to purchase at the food shack. Then, another where they were simply laying on the sand while looking at the clouds. And so many more.
Apparently, this was something he could do ever since Cole left. He does not know whether to call it a gift or a curse because whenever he passes by a place where he and Cole used to be, it will always remind him of the past which never lasted no matter how much he begged for them to. A little piece of him was left in every place where he and Cole used to be.
