at the café

Soobin woke up and walked into his toilet looking in the mirror. Whatever that looked back at him scared the living crap out of his 6'1 body. His reflection projected a panda looking version of him. "Crap I stayed up too late last night" Soobin said looking in the mirror examining the dark circles under his eyes. 

Soobin tried to cover up his dark circles with some concealer but it was still visible. After countless of layers, finally it didn't look he stayed awake the entire night. 

Only being able to sleep a wink last night, Soobin got onto his usual bus and fell asleep in one of the window seats. Waking up every now and then to make sure he didn't miss his stop. Finally reaching his stop, Soobin walked to his office and took a seat at his desk. Again his seniors decided to bully him by piling work on his desk. Him being slightly agitated by it he took one of the files and aggressively put it on the only empty workspace he had on his desk. He opened the file and started work, but his droopy eyelids said otherwise. The man couldn't help but fall asleep each time he looked at the paper. 

Being fed up by constantly falling asleep he went to a café nearby to get coffee. "Miss, what would like?" said the cashier to the woman in front of him. "I would like 3 iced and 2 hot americanos please" the woman replied. "Wait the voice sounds so familiar...Where have I heard that voice before" Soobin thought to himself.  The woman walked away to the side revealing the side of her face. "O..Oh that's why the voice was so familiar...It's Lia" Soobin thought to himself lightly slapping his forehead. 

"Sir, what would you like today?" the cashier said behind the counter breaking Soobin's train of thought. "O..Oh I would like a caramel macchiato to go please." Soobin said. "That would be $12.90 sir" said the cashier. After the paying for the drink, Soobin walked to the pick up area to wait for his drink. Next to him was Lia. He finally decided to muster up his courage to say hi to Lia. 

"Hey" Soobin said nervously. 

"Oh..um hi. Do I know you?... Are you a fan?" Lia replied with a confused face. 

"Oh I'm not a fan. I mean I am but that's not why I said hi." Soobin said flustered.

"Oh.. Then may I ask why did you say hi?" said Lia her face looking even more confused than before. 

"Well remember that time when you gave me a ride to my office?" Soobin asked her hoping she remembered it. 

"Oh! That was you?" said Lia as the memory came back. 

"Yeah!! You can't recognize me?" Soobin said giving her a little twirl. 

"Well your blue hair faded a little, so I couldn't recognize you" said Lia looking up to Soobin's now almost grey hair. 

"Ahh my hair.." Soobin looked up to the few strands of hair he held out with his fingers. 

Finding him silly Lia giggled at him. 

"What are you giggling at and who is this?" another woman's voice asked walking towards Lia.

"Oh Yuna!! This is er.." Lia said trying to introduce Soobin to Yuna.

"Soobin. Soobin Choi." Soobin said finishing Lia's introduction. 

"Soobin? I don't remember Lia mentioning a Soobin before." Yuna said  looking back at forth at Soobin and Lia. 

"He's the blue haired guy the I helped the other day" Lia said to Yuna while gesturing her to get out before Yuna embarrasses her. 

"OHHH THE BLUE HAIRED GUY YOU COULDN'T STOP TALKING ABOUT??" Yuna said a little too loud. 

"DUDE SHUT UP" Lia said then politely smiling at Soobin who's face was now burning red and pushing Yuna out of the café. 

"HEY YOU FORGOT THESE" said one of the staff from behind the counter holding up a plastic bag containing 5 cups of americano. 

"I'll bring it to her" Soobin took the bag and his caramel macchiato and went off, following Lia. Speed walking trying to catch up to Lia, at the same time trying not to spill the coffees. Finally Soobin caught up to her. "Hah.. hah.. Here are your americanos." Soobin said holding out the bag of americanos. "OooOoH" Yuna said teasing Lia. Lia slapped Yuna's side making a face which said "Just you wait..". Lia took the bag of americanos and smiled at Soobin before pushing Yuna back to the company. When they were gone Soobin couldn't help but cracked a smile. 

Soobin went back to his office not even feeling sleepy anymore after the interaction between him and Lia. Looking at his watch then to the pile of work on his desk Soobin said "I guess it's gonna be just you and me" Soobin said to his caramel macchiato. (cause he had to work overtime) 

a/n: Finally a genuine (not really) interaction between Lia and Soobin YAYY!! Do you want more interactions between them? I mean of course you do. I really need to tart  introducing the villain soon ahahaha if not this story gon be super cliché. Anyways only 1 part today I'm lazy to continue haha. Hope you enjoyed it!!
