"What are you doing?"

"Healing him," i answered.

"Such power..." Wonder Woman commented.

"Before you continue any further, you need to confirm whether you're not hostile to any of us."

A voice spoke up, a different tone. I was guessing it came from the one whom haven't yet spoken. The 'Batman' as i recalled. I cornered my eyes before stopping my magic. Indeed, it would be foolish to let them wondered through this anomaly. I as well couldn't comprehend what had happened to Raiden and me. I faced my back against Raiden, letting my both hands hanging gracefully behind me. "I have no such intentions. I wouldn't want to mess with people in a place i'm not familiar with."

Batman seemed assured by my honest answer. With Superman's nodding gesture, the two exchanged a glance before allowing me to continue. I answered them with a smile before turning back around, continued where i left off.

"You are humble and wise. Unlike Raiden, you are able to control your demeanor in an unlikely situation," Wonder Woman said.

I chuckled in a low tone, "He may not seem like it at the very first, but he's ten time wiser than me. Trust me...i'm sure he just panicked."

"And what should we call you?" Batman asked.

"I thought Raiden already told Superman?" i joked lightly. The silence corrupted my moment after i did my bidding on Raiden's body. Slowly making my eyes gaze back at the three, i let their mind drizzled in a short moment of confusion. "I'm (Y/N)."

There was a long pause before a grunt was made behind me, i twitched my brows and immediately turned to the source. I leaned closer as i reach Raiden's head. His eyes were opening as our pupils meet. I cornered a smile, "Easy...."

"(Y/N)..??"

"How are you feeling?"

"I--" his words were cut off when his eyes reverted to a figure behind me, his stare sharpened and spontaneously made his way up. Standing on the ground beside me, "You!" he exclaimed.

The three stood back in defense, i jolted back in reaction. Electricity started to recoil around his arms. I stepped in front of him, blocking his view. "Whoa whoa whoa calm down, Thunder God. They are not enemies."

He bent his head down, trailed off to my eyes. I gestured a nod to assure him. The recoiling thunder on his arms faded, slowly burnt out. The three straightened back their poses.

"God?"

I turned to Wonder Woman, eyes full of question. I was about to open my mouth to offer some explanations, but Raiden stepped forward, "I am Raiden. God of Thunder. Protector of Earthrealm."

"Protector? Earthrealm?"

My mouth back and forth spilled nothing but air, unable to retrieve any commentary. I paused and turned to Raiden, eyes also full of curiosity and quandary. I glanced back at Superman, "Well, let's see. Where do we begin?"

*****

"Where is the amulet now?" Superman asked.

"I am not certain. However, i must confer with the Elder Gods. Their counsel will aid this matter."

I lifted a brow, "I think that's not gonna work, Raiden. You said it yourself, we're in a different universe. Different world, different gods. I presume."

"So you're stuck here?" Batman tilted his head.

We stood silent. There was no ideal nor particular words which could provoke my pondering thoughts. Raiden crossed his arms in his stand, silent as i do too. I released a hot breath, "We don't know. I think for now, the best decision is to search for the am--"

No warning was summoned when a sudden pain stroke my head. I grunted in my spot and placed a hand on the side of my head, trying to maintain the balance of my trembling body. The three flinched on their sight, as well as the Thunder God. "(Y/N)," Raiden wrapped his hand around my shoulder and pulled me close, grabbing my freehand. I shook my head slowly, shaking off the side effect.

"I-i'm fine...just another vision..."

There was a beeping sound on the large monitor, Batman quickly approached it to learn the notification i suppose. Wonder Woman and Superman did the same, standing behind him with eyes locked on the screen. Raiden glanced at the device, while i was still held captive by his arm. The blood on my cheeks rushed, i bit my lower lip.

He turned his attention towards me, "How are you feeling?"

"Healthier than ever, Lord Raiden." There was some vague pink fluster on my cheeks as i tighten my hand on his, Raiden painted an unnoticeable smile.

"There's another strange energy signal, similar like yours earlier. Thirty clicks to the North," Batman informed as he types something on the panel, the screen showed some readings going around in the certain area.

"I believe its best for us to investigate the anomaly, seeing as the similarity matched," i called out.

"Very well, but be on guard. There may be others like us lurking around."

Raiden and i nodded in agreement. We excused ourselves and made our way out of the crowd. Making our way to the elevator. Walking towards the long path, i looked up the ceiling. Seemed like an underground lair which had been built decades ago. The architecture was decent and formidable, placed by the desirable structure.

"This is one strange day..." i muttered.

Raiden spun his head towards me, "Indeed. Rest assured we will find a way to return home, (Y/N)."

"What makes it weirder is that our clothes changed. I mean, look at me. This does not suit me in any way."

I protested as i sway the hanging long fabric covered most of my right arm. My necklace and my comb was still in place. Though the same cannot be same for my old particular clothing. Raiden noticed my behavior, but he never let his gaze off of me.

"You look as lovely, Lady (Y/N)."

I bit the wall inside my mouth as i roll my eyes, he cornered a vague smile. When we reached the elevator, i crossed my arms and scanned my eyes on his attire. Losing my focus at his exposed bare chest. Raiden twitched his brows when the doors closed, realized my staring.

Fuck

I quickly spun my head, facing away from him. I could already tell my face had already becoming redden. I may not see it, but i felt a vague smirk painted across his face. The elevator lifted us, transporting us to the designated level of our destination.
