Hazielle's POV

"I'll miss the three of you here in the house," ani Dad.

Nakatayo lang ako at nakasandal sa pintuan ng sarili kong kotse na bigay ni Mom habang nanonood kung paanong hindi makaalis si Hera mula sa pagkakalambitin sa loob ni Dad, while Hero's hugging Mom then kissed her forehead.

Lumapit naman sa akin si Jasper.

"Ate, keep safe and stay healthy. I'm looking forward to you, training me. I love you..."

I kept my face blank but I am smiling in the inside. Nakatingin lang siya sa akin ng diretso. Nang mabasa ko ang gusto niyang iparating, tinanguan ko siya.

He ran the distance between us then hugged me very tight. Pi-nat ko naman ang ulo niya habang mahinang natawa dahil parang anytime, maiiyak siya.

"Don't laugh at me, Ate! I'm gonna miss you, really..."

"You can visit us anytime you want, Jasper."

"But Mom said it's better not to. We need to wait until everything's fine..."

"Then, you can meet us at school."

Humiwalay siya sa akin at tumingin ng diretso.

Sometimes I hate it when he can stare at me directly in the eyes because we almost have the same height. I feel very short when I am beside him or Hero tho, Hero's taller. Meanwhile, me and Hera have the same height.

"Ate, we can't. Hindi niyo ba alam na extra guarded ang building na kinaroroonan niyo? Only the students in that building, also the professors are allowed to enter. The Empire can't risk all your safety not until everything's under control."

Napatingin ako kay Mom dahil sa sinabi ni Jasper. I didn't know the security will be this tight.

Mom was just looking at me, we both have blank expressions but she let me read her eyes. Hindi na ako nagsalita.

"I heard even the food you will eat will be checked and delivered to you by your bodyguards. You will be staying in your room for school hours then go back straight to the house after that."

I gave Jasper a nod after what he said.

"Then, see you soon, Jasper."

"See you soon, Ate. I'm gonna miss you calling me a weakling because I'm still a kid though I find it very sweet of you," nakangiting saad niya.

Nagtaka naman ako. Tinawag ko siyang mahina pero sweet? I don't get it.

"Huh? Why?"

"Because you calling me weakling means you want me to be strong. I know you, Ate. Pinapalitan mo yung mga bagay na gustong mong iparating gamit yung mga bagay na medyo masakit sa tainga," natatawang sagot niya. "It's fine though. Komportable ka sa ganiyan, support ako."

I'm really thankful Jasper didn't go after her Mom's steps. I can still remember what happened to Hero, Hera and me. The time when she sold Hera to a pedo, throw punches and kick to Hero even he was still a little boy back then and me who almost drowned.

I can remember all of it like it just happened yesterday.

"Hey baby bro! I'm gonna miss you!" sigaw ni Hera at lumapit.

Humarap naman si Jasper sa kaniya habang ako naman ay pumunta sa direksyon nila Mom at Dad.

"Can you give your Dad a hug, baby?" tanong ni Dad.

I gave him a small smile then went to him to hug him. He hugged me very tight like he's afraid of letting go.

"I'll miss you. Please stay safe and healthy. I love you..." bulong niya.
