Pairing: Sam x reader

Genre: Fluff, Humour

Characters: Sam, Y/N

Description: Y/N loves clowns but Sam absolutely hates them. When she finds a figurine of a clown and takes it home, Sam is less than impressed.

Today was yours and Sams 1 year anniversary and you had decided to go to a carnival. Sam tried his best to steer clear of the clowns to make the night even more special for you.

You were entranced with the glow of all the coloured lights, and Sam couldn't help but smile at your expression. You had never really been to a carnival before and had pleaded with Sam to go. He agreed, hesitantly, and was immediately engulfed in a bear hug.

You and Sam walked hand-in-hand around the carnival, taking in all of the breathtaking scenery surrounding you both. You noticed the ferris wheel further up the pathway and dragged Sam towards it.

Both of you took your seats in the carriage and you leant your head on Sams shoulder, intertwining your fingers once more. You sighed with happiness as the ferris wheel began to move. When you reached the top, you gasped in amazement at the sight before you.

The sun was setting in front of the red and orange sky, bringing out the silhouettes of the buildings that surrounded it. Sam kissed the top of your head as your eyes took in your surroundings.

"Happy anniversary, baby. This year has been the best. You are the most important person in the world to me." Tears sprung to the corners of your eyes as Sam finished his sentence. You lifted your head up and placed a passionate kiss on his lips, letting him pull you in.

You both were so entranced with each other that you didn't notice that the wheel had started moving again and it was your turn to get off and head home.

You wanted to get a souvenir to remember this moment and you knew exactly what to get. You told Sam to wait in the car whilst you walked into the souvenir shop to find the perfect little keepsake.

After strolling through the different aisles becoming less and less disheartened, on the last shelf, you found the perfect ornament. A clown. You giggled lightly and walked towards the checkout.

Sam immediately became curious when you walked over to the car holding a brown paper bag. He lifted his eyebrows up in question but you told him not to be so nosy.

"You're gonna love it, Sam. It's going to take pride on the fireplace. This little keepsake represents the best night of my life so far." You leaned over and placed a soft kiss on Sams cheek, stubble scratching your lips. Sam turned the key and the engine roared to life.

Sam was literally like a little kid at Christmas when you got home. "Cmon, Y/N. Show me." He sat down on the couch whilst you knelt down and began to take the figurine out the bag.

"Close your eyes then, Sammy." He covered his eyes with his hands as you took out the clown and placed it in the centre of the fireplace. You stood up and admired your handiwork. "Alright, open."

Sam uncovered his eyes and looked down. His face contorted in fear as he moved further and further away from the fireplace. "What the hell! GET THAT OUT OF THE HOUSE NOW!"
