You arrived at Hogwarts walking with a group of first years lead by professor Mcgonogall "ok first years you all must be sorted into your houses they are Gryffendor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw And Slytherin She continued talking but was interrupted when A boy yelled "Trevor" he jumped forward and grabbed a toad than looked up at professor Mcgonogall She didn't look happy "sorry" the boy said as he walked back to his spot in the crowd. There were whispers in the crowd "so it's true what they were saying on the train, Harry Potter has come to Hogwarts" said the Blonde boy you saw earlier.
"That's Crabbe and that's Goyle" he said pointing at the 2 boys by his sides. He stepped forward "and I'm Malfoy, Draco Malfoy" Ron Giggled a bit at his name "you think my name is funny do you" Draco said with an Annoyed look "no need to ask yours, Red hair and a hand-me-down Robe, you must be a weasley" he said with a rude tone.
"You'll soon find out that some wizarding families are better than some potter, you don't wanna go making friends with the wrong sort" he said glaring at Ron "I think I can tell the wrong sort for myself thanks" Harry Said I laughed a little at that
"What are you laughing at" Draco said turning to you
You had your hood up and your hand covering your mouth so that you didn't laugh again "nothing" you said nervously "what's your name anyways"
You removed your hood and took your hands away from your mouth "I-I'm Y/N Y/L/N" you said with a scared/nervous look on your face
Dracos face turned a bit red as he saw you
"Well you certainly look a lot prettier without your hood" Draco said. You smiled at that and looked to the ground "oh leave her alone Malfoy" Harry said Walking in front of you, you looked up and laughed a bit at that
"Piss off Potter" Draco said angrily "ok that's enough boys. Everyone follow me into the dining hall" said Proffessor McGonogall. She opened the door and walked in with the large group of first years. The dining hall was lined with tables filled with Students from year 2-8. You all arrived at the front of the room and waited for Professor McGonogall to start calling names up.
"Hermione Granger" she called and Hermione walked up and sat down in a chair.
"Mental that one im telling ya" Ron said to you and Harry.
A hat was placed on Hermiones Head
"Ahhh Bright, Bright, okay Gryffendor!" The hat Called out. Everyone on the gryffendor table cheered loudly as Hermione proudly walked over and sat down. Beside the Weasley twins
"Ronald Weasley" the Professor Called out
Ron nervously walked up and sat down in the seat
and the sorting hat was placed on his head
"Ah! Another Weasley I know just what to do with you" the hat said sounding annoyed "Gryffendor" the hat screamed and Ron walked happily over to the Gryffendor table
"Draco Malfoy" you looked over as Draco Walked up and sat in the chair "Slytherin" the hat screamed Before it even touched his head
"Harry Potter" silence filled the room, Harry slowly got up and walked over and sat down on the chair. The hat was placed on his head "hmm Difficult very Difficult Lots if Courage I see not a bad mind either there's talent oh yes and a thirst to prove yourself But where to put you" the Hat said "not Slytherin you whispered to yourself over and over again"
"Not Slytherin aye? are you sure you could be great you know it's all here in your head and Slytherin will help you on your way to greatness there's no doubt about that Hmm Better be... Gryffendor" the hate screamed and All the Gryffendors stood cheering.
Harry smiled and walked over and sat next to Ron
" next is miss Y/N Y/L/N" you looked down at the ground with your eyes shut for a second nervous than walked up to the chair, you sat down and felt all eyes on you the hat was placed on your head
"Hmm Bright very Smart and Strong, With a thirst to fit in Hmm Difficult" the hat said You closed your eyes tight and sighed You opened your eyes and than looked at Draco be looked at you than you quickly looked away "Hmm I know where to put you Must be... Slytherin" the hat screamed
You had a look of shock on your face. The Slytherin table cheered loud and you looked at Hermione Ron and Harry they looked at you sadly as you walked over to the Slytherin table and sat next to Draco
All of Slytherin table walked to the common rooms as an older guy explained where the girls dorms were and the boys dorms. But you were too busy looking down at the ground thinking about Harry Hermione and Ron to pay attention
