Taylor POV
I woke up very excited about today because it was me and my boyfriends 1 year anniversary of being together.
I smile every time I remember the day he officially asked me to be his girlfriend, it's a memory I will never forget, honestly.
Jumping out of my thoughts.
I look to the side of the bed I shared with Ja and just smile in awe of how he looked while sleeping and thinking of how lucky I was to have a boyfriend like him.
"Wake up baby" - I whispered in his ear seductively.
He moved but never opened his eyes.
I rolled my eyes and chuckled.
He was not a morning person but I knew I had to wake him up cause he had practice and a game later tonight.
"Baby, I said wake up" I said this time kissing his ear.
He moaned and slowly started to wake up.
I laughed and pulled away but as I was removing the covers he quickly pulled me back in bed.
He had his arms around my waist and pulled me close to him.
We were basically chest to chest.
He slowly kissed my neck then kissed behind my ear.
I moaned as he held me and kissed me.
But I knew we had to stop.
"Baby, you got practice" I said still in my moaning state.
"It can wait" he said back with a chuckle soon after.
I loved and hated that he had this type of effect on me.
After a couple of pleas convincing him to stop.
He finally got out and bed and went straight to the restroom we shared.
I decided to go downstairs and make breakfast for myself, while I waited for him to get out the bathroom.
While I was walking towards the kitchen, I noticed that he hadn't mentioned what today was.
I shrugged it off in that moment, hoping he'd say something when he got done.
-after his shower-
Ja comes down the stairs and grabs his keys, gives a kiss to me on my cheek and leaves.
"Wow" I said sadly.
I just sat and waited to get ready for his game.
-before the game-
Ja's POV
I know she thinks I forgot what today was but I didn't.
I wanted to surprise her on this special day.
It's been a year since I've asked her to be my boo, so you know I had to have something up my sleeve.
-at the house-
Taylor POV
I was in me and ja's room getting ready for his game.
I wore his jersey number and put on my fave ripped jeans and Jordan's.
-after the game-
We won.
I was so happy but still upset at Ja for not remembering what today was.
" aye" Ja said coming up from behind me and hugging me.
I just laughed to play it off.
He kissed me the cheek and left for the locker room.
