Ja's POV
"Baby, I can't believe you actually planned this date for us" She said.
"You know I got to show you a good time" I replied back.
Truth be told I was scared as hell.
There was a reason I had never planned these dates.
The first reason was because I'm well known.
I'm the starting point guard for the Memphis Grizzlies, which means I play professional basketball for the NBA.
And the second reason is because I already got a girlfriend.
The girl that I'm currently on this date with does know this, and she's agreed to being the side chick.
We've been together for like 6 months.
And she's been bugging me to take her out for the longest.
I had been stalling because I had to make sure I had time cause I have practice and a game almost everyday.
And I had to make sure my girl was out, so she wouldn't catch us.
"Are y'all ready to order" The waiter asked.
"Not yet, can we get a bit more time" the side chick responded back.
"Of course" she smiled.
"Are y'all ready to order drinks" She asked after.
We both said yes and said the names of our drinks.
"I'll be right out with those" She said turning away.
"How's your girl" The side chick asked.
As she asked the question I saw a group of girls walk through the door.
I just stared at them.
I wasn't checking them out, they just looked oddly familiar.
"What did I tell you earlier today" I said sternly.
"Not to mention her, blah blah blah, never mind" she said rolling her eyes.
The girls I were staring at were now waiting for a waiter to come seat them.
"Here are the drinks" Our waiter said coming with two cups filled with ice and soda.
I was still looking at the group of girls that were waiting.
The table beside us had just been cleaned and it fit the number of girls that were about to be seated.
A waiter went to them asking for them to follow her to the table.
The girls were not bunched anymore.
They individually walked to the table, but they were still bunched up.
Then saw her.
YOUR POV
Our waiter had just came, so we were now going to be seated at our table.
As I was passing people I noticed one person in particular.
He looked like my boyfriend, but I wasn't sure, so I asked one of my homegirls.
"Is that who I think it is" I asked pointing to them.
"Ja" she said.
"So, I'm not tripping" I said getting angry.
"Get him girl" she said.
I got up from my chair so fast.
My homegirl stayed to inform the others girls on what was happening.
"Well, hello" I said smiling.
Ja looked at me in shock.
"Hi" the girl said to me.
"So this what we doing" I asked Ja.
"Baby" He whispered in defeat.
I looked at my girls and they had my stuff and were by the door waiting for me.
I looked back at Ja, rolled my eyes, and took off.
I walked to the door where my friends were.
Ja's POV
"Damn it" I said throwing my napkin on the table.
"Why are you angry" the side chick asked.
"Really" I said in disbelief.
"The girl I love just caught me cheating with yo no good ass" I said standing up.
"Your really about to leave me" She said getting upset.
"You know what fuck you" the side chick yelled.
I threw money on the table and left.
I ran after I exited the door of the resturaunt.
I saw them sitting on a bench not to far.
My baby was crying and her friends were comforting her.
I quietly approached them.
Her homegirls saw me and mean mugged the fuck out of me.
"His ass here girl" One whispered, loud enough for me to hear.
She looked up and wiped her face so no tears were left.
"What" she said with attitude.
YOUR POV
"Girls I got this" I told them.
"You sure" they questioned.
"Yeah, I'll call y'all if some go wrong" I assured them.
They gave me kisses on the cheeks and mean mugged the fuck out of Ja before they left.
"Can I sit next to you" Ja asked.
I scooted all the way to the end of the bench so that he knew not to sit close to me.
"I know I fucked up" he said.
He looked at me with begging eyes but I was to hurt to say anything.
"I know you don't want to talk to me right now, but I want you to know that I love you, and you mean everything to me, even though I fucked up, I want the best for you, I want you, and only you" Ja said.
"I can't right now Ja" I said back.
"I'm hurt and I need time, so please give me that" I added.
He looked up and sighed in defeat.
"I'm getting my stuff and moving out"
"If we are going to survive this, which we may or may not, I'm going to need time to heal, alone, and by myself" I said getting up to leave.
