You were getting ready to go to your boyfriends parents house.
"D, are you sure I'm welcomed because last time I went it didn't end so well?" You asked.
"Babe, I'm sure, now lets go" he said grabbing your hand.
At his parents 🏡
"Okay we are officially here" d'angelo sighed.
"Yep"
D'angelo got out the car then came to my side and opened the door.
He held his hand out so I wouldn't fall out the car from wearing some high ass heels to impress his family.
As I got out I sissed.
"Babe are you ok in those heels" D asked very concerned.
"I'm good"

He held my hand all the way to the door.
He knocked on the door and the door opened.
Out popped one of his brothers.
"Hey brotha, where's mom and dad" D said giving his brother a hug.
"In the kitchen, anyway who's this sexy lil mama right her" Antonio said.
I blushed and d'lo saw
"Boy if you don't stop looking at something you can't have"
I laughed.
"Okay okay I'm done"
We walked further into the house.
"Hey boys" dee said to his other brothers.
"Hey" they all said back.
I sat on the couch next to cloee.
And we made small talk.
"Hey how's everything been with you and school?" I asked him.
"It's been well but I really need your help in chemistry that shit is really kicking my ass." You both laughed.
"Just call me we can set up a day" I said

When I was done talking to him I went to find my boo cause I had missed him.
But when I did I ran into someone.
"Oops ma'am I am so sorry" I said nervously
"You should be" she looked at me and rolled her eyes.
"Everyone it's dinner time"
All the boys came rushing to the table and that's when I saw d'lo.
"Hey babe why so down" he asked lifting my chin
"Oh nothing"
"I know something's up but I'll wait till you tell me okay"
"K" I sighed.
We sat down at the table.
15 minutes into the 🍴
"D'lo guess who I ran into last week at the grocery store" his mom asked.
"Who"

I just stared at my food because I knew that was one of his exes.
It was the one that cheated on him.
"she looked amazing ,you know she's a nurse"
" nice to know but I could honestly care less" d'lo said making me laugh.
Which caused him to smile at me.
"There's that beautiful smile"
I blushed
"Do you work" his mom questioned me.
"No but I umm-" before I could finish she interrupted me
"So you have no job and your living with my son, well whose money are you spending to buy you those slutty ass outfits-"
"Mom stop"
"What-"
"No stop, this has been going on for to long, you have done nothing but been awfully mean to my sweet innocent girlfriend,and I'm done, yes she might not have a job and that's because she's going to school to be one of the best lawyers in the business and trust me and she might use my money to buy her clothes but I have to beg her cause she hates using my money to buy her things and she sure as hell ain't no damn gold digger "
D'angelo said to his mother.
"It's a shame that she doesn't want to spend time with my brothers and my dad because you don't like her , it's a shame that she doesn't feel at home when she comes and its also a shame that my own mother can't accept that she is the only women I want and the only woman I love so stop bringing up my exes"
"Babe that's enough" I said.
"Okay, let's leave" D said.
We went to grab our things then d'lo went back.
"I love you mom with all my heart, I just wish it didn't have to be this way" he said crying.
"I love you too baby" his mom said.
"But not her"
