Chapter 12: We just met Cesc!

Elena and I started walking back to the office in silence. I knew we were both thinking about what just happened within the last half hour. Between sneaking in like agents, getting caught, Cesc Fabregas saving us, Cesc speaking to us, Cesc seeing us fan-girling, in fact just Cesc Fabregas. To think we admired him but he was not even our biggest crush. How were we going to manage that?!

That's if we are even still here.

Before we knew it we were back in the office.

"Where have you guys been?!" Matt asked.

"You guys took forever!" Nate said.

Elena and I looked at each other.

"Ok what is with you two?" Matt asked. Elena and I could not hold it in.

"We met Cesc Fabregas!" Elena said.

"He saved our job!" I said.

"What?!" Matt said.

"No way!" Nate said.

"Yeah he was so nice! Especially since we technically sneaked in," Elena said.

"Huh?" Matt said confused.

"Well we needed our cards to get in but we were too lazy to walk back," I said.

"Yeah and then Jade saw a man going into the back door," Elena said.

We explained the whole story to them.

"I don't believe you," Matt said seriously.

"You think we made all that up?!" Elena asked annoyed.

I looked at Nate.

"I'm sorry Jade but I agree with Matt. You guys are just trying to pull our leg," Nate said.

I looked at him shocked and then turned to Elena. Well who would ever believe us? Saying Cesc Fabregas saved your job does sound farfetched in general. We both sighed. At least we knew it was real.

"So back to reality, we still have work to do," Nate said.

"Food first!" Matt said as he began to stuff food into his mouth. Elena and I sat in silence while we ate and drank our coffee.

"Ok guys you can't be upset at us," Nate said.

"You think we're lying," I said.

"Ok fine, we'll make you a deal," Matt said.

"Keep going," Elena said.

"So if you guys really did meet Cesc, then when we see him he should recognize you two right?," Matt said looking at Nate.

"Right," Nate said.

"So if he does then we'll believe you," Matt said.

"So basically you still don't believe us," Elena said.

"More like we just want proof to confirm what you said," Matt said as Elena gave him a death glare.

What a lawyer I thought.

Frustrated I decided to drop the subject. We needed to get work done if we wanted to see Cesc again to prove we're not lying.

"Ok, fine. Elena let us just drop it, Cesc saved our job once, we need to actually do this right if we want to see him again," I said.

"Yeah you're right, let's all get to work," she said.

"Well I'm going to start brainstorming my contract ideas, not too sure how much you guys can help me," Matt said as he began to plan on paper.
