High School Endings

Chapter 8

Naomi Mason

"Jake what are you still doing here!" I was yelling at jake while i was still cooking the food

"umm I live here?" he replied

I rolled my eyes at him "I know that Sherlock, I mean what are you still doing here i told you i was having the soccer team over and I didn't want you here." I told him

"Chelsea is still here why aren't you yelling at her?!" Jake said

"because Chelsea was helping me with the food but she leaving to her parents house now." I explained to him

"Whatever you better not burn the house down or do anything stupid because you'll be dead in a minute." 

"Me? burn the house down? Never. That will mean i'll have to live with aunt Allie and we don't want that now would we." I said in a taunting voice

"Not funny." He said in a serious tone

I couldn't help but to laugh a little "come on lighten up."

Jake shook his head "you are so childish."

"And you aren't?" I retorted back

He frowned "shut up."

I laughed and turn back to my food. We were having a pasta party because we all decided on it and since it was at my house I had to be the one to cook the food. Some people were bringing chips and forks and plates and drinks and dessert but I still had to cook  the food. Plus i had to cook enough for everyone and my time loves to eat. So i had to cook a lot. Half of it is done, i am now cooking the other half and my lasagna is in the oven and so is the bake ziti. I have never cooked so much food in my life. I started at like 10:00 and its now 3:30 and the party is at 5:00 and i am still cooking. Never again am i doing this.

I looked over my shoulder at Jake and he was looking down at his phone. He was still here after i just yelled at him for being here.

Before i could yell at him again I heard a knock on the door.

who the hell was at the door now?

"That's for me!" Jake screamed

"You have friends?" I said

"Yeah I do" He said as he opened the door

It was randy

"This time he is not here for you." Jake told me

Randy laughed

"He is your plans?" I asked

"yup we are going to Buffalo Wild Wings and watching some college football" Jake said

"Hey princess." Randy said to me smiling

"I hate that you two are friends." I said not even replying to randy

"You love it." Randy said

I laughed

"Okay let me tell Chelsea that i'm leaving and make sure that she is okay." Jake said

"okay Mr. father to be" Randy was making fun of him for being so over protective. that is how Jake is though. I couldnt stop myself from laughing.

"Fuck you." Jake said before running upstairs

"You cant use that kind of language around your kid!" Randy called up to him

"shut up!" Jake yelled down

Randy laughed and walked over to me

"Hey princess" he said again

"Hey" i said back to him smiling
