Chapter 16

Naomi Mason

I'm running down the feild.

going by everyone that stands in my way

I hear the fans cheering, my coach yelling, the other coach yelling to her players to stop me

I block them all out and set my eyes to goal

But as i reach the goal its like the world was spinning

And i was on the ground

i couldnt move.

then everything went dark

I slowly opened my eyes and then slowly closing them again because of the light burning my eyes. I realize that someone else was in the room sitting down on my bed. i dont want to even open my eyes to check. I'm to tired.

I groan "Who are you?"

"It's me princess." It was randy. he is the only one who calls me princess.

I smile still not opening my eyes " Go away."

"No can do princess" He said

"And why not?" I asked

He laughed "Do you know what day it is Naomi?"

"I dont really know when i first wake up. you know my brain hasnt really process yet." i tell him

He laughs again "Its November !st."

November !st?

Oh shit

Its my 18th birthday

"Happy birthday princess." Randy says and he leans over and kisses my forehead

i finally open my eyes and looked him straight in the eyes and smiled.

"Thanks randy." I said "what time is it?"

"10:00" He replied

"what the hell are you doing here at 10:00 in the morning."

"One because its my princess's birthday and two i have a full day of things for us to do."

"Really?" I raised my eyebrow

"Well now were going out to breakfeast with Jake and Chelsea because I have something plan tonight so we cant go out to dinner so were going out to breakfeast then i'm going to take you shopping for tonights plans and then we have tonights plans." he gave me a goofy smile

I sat up in my bed alittle bit "Whats tonights plan?"

He stood up "Cant say suprise."

I groan "you and your stupid suprises."

He leaned over and gave me a quick kiss on my lips "They are always great suprises anyway."

"Yeah they are." I pout

"Don't pout ." he says "be ready in five minutes" He started walking out my room

"Five minutes?" I said

"Five minutes!' he called out of my room

I groaned again forcing myself out of my bed.

I went into my bathroom and looked myself in the mirror.

18 years and i dont feel any diffrent. Just older.

Hopefully this birthday isnt sucky.

We arrive at small diner which happens to be my favorite diner because they have best pancakes and i love pancakes.

We all walked inside the diner, well i crutched inside the diner. We sat down in a booth and randy slip in next to me taking my hand in his. I automatically smiled. Jake and Chelsea sat across from us. Chelsea was scooping out the menu while Jake was smiling at us. The waiter came and took our drink and food orders. I order the short stack of pancakes and apple juice. Chelsea order an omelet, Jake order Eggs and bacon and randy order French toast.
