*** 3RD PERSON POV***

Location: Vale Docks (Warehouse)
Time: 9:30PM

A week had passed since Y/N started his lessons over Alchemy with Neo. The first "lesson" was merely a dissection of a Grimm Y/N had caught earlier that day.

The procedure made Neo queasy and nervous at the grizly actions taken against the incapacitated Grimm. Regardless, after she was done gagging, Y/N revealed his groundbreaking discoveries.

His theory was correct. The Grimm were almost exactly like the Familiars of Purgatory. However, if they were indeed this realism equivalent of familiars....who was the warlock or sorcerer behind them? Y/N pondered this question throughly, searching for every possible lead or answer he had...and yet, he found none.

Shoving his thoughts to the side, he despawned his Grimm and resummoned it to almost instantly regenerate it's wounds from being dissected alive. He quickly discovered that the Grimm he captured would change slightly in appearance. Instead of its white bone like armor, the color was now completely black with streaks of bright green. The skull masks on his Grimm also slightly protruded outwards....almost like they were wearing a Plague Doctor mask...The grimm he had captured was named personally by Y/N himself with the help of Neo.

They decided on naming the Doctors new pet Beowulf, "Shirley" A rather odd choice of name, but oh well...Nah, I'm fucking with you, it's name was "Cerberus" or "Cerb" for short. Though it couldn't exactly speak, it was able to communicate with Y/N via their "Master/Servant" connection. Unfortunately, Y/N was unable to find any trace of the beasts previous master.

Back on topic, it was now his turn to uphold his end of the bargain. In exchange for introducing Alchemy to Neo, he had promised to meet her accomplice...and be civil about it too....

As of right now, he was patiently awaiting Neo's return and the appearance of her partner. Originally, Neo had waited with him till she received a message of distress from the said partner.

He had been waiting nearly 30 minutes alone, stuck with only his mind and his own inner thoughts. He let his kind wander freely, not seeing a reason to keep his focus reserved anyways.

He contemplated his stay at Beacon, while he enjoyed the overall relaxation, he couldn't help but feel guilty. He felt as if he was slowly losing who he once was, The Feared Doctor. The Infamous Harbinger of Disease. The Bounty Hunter of Pestilence. The Plague Doctor of Purgatory.

In truth, he had missed his old life. He enjoyed his new friends, but they didn't help solve his inner problem. He enjoyed Neo and everyone else's company, but he also couldn't help but feel like he was replacing the people from his previous life. He had dreams, goals, aspirations, ideals, and palms to set in motion first. And yet...he felt empty.

He had more free time then he previously had ever dreamed of. With this free time, came boredom and loads of self contemplation.

As the days dragged on and on, Y/N began to rethink his third life. What would he do? What was his purpose? What should he do? The Plague Doctor was riddled with question after question about his new life here.

He was then snapped out of his thoughts by Neo, who had just entered the room.

Y/N: "Well hello, I suppose you bring some well deserved company, yes?" He said as he propped his chin on his right hand, allowing the elbow of his arm to rest on the table infront of him.
