As soon as they dock in Auradon Daniel and Victoria say goodbye to them, they promise not to take long but the Queendom needs a Queen. Carlos assures Victoria that he's fine and that she doesn't have to come back until it's time. Victoria wants to throw up at the thought instead she smiles and hugs him tight. The Holy Trinity is a magical and very convenient ship. One of its features is a portal to Victoria's room at the castle. The wood of the mast and her door were crafted from the same magical tree which links them and allows only Vernelle's royal blood to pass through.

Daniel manages to count since he has royal blood by birth and by marriage to Victoria, its a nice technicality. So all they do is step through the main mast of the shop and appear in their rooms in the castle in Vernelle. Jeremy is there at her back as always, being a shade means he technically doesn't have any human blood to prevent or allow him from crossing, another technicality.

"Shower?" Daniel asks Victoria shakes her head

"I'm going to get dirty anyway I'll shower when I finish" she says stretching her arms over her head

"Do you need my help?" Daniel asks

"Another commander would be helpful" Victoria smiles "not to mention an amazing swordsman"

"I'm flattered" Daniel kisses her cheek

"Yeah so let Angela know we need her on the front lines" Victoria jokes and Daniel pretends to be wounded. Victoria scoffs and ties her hair into a braid and secures it like a crown on the top of her head, the rest as a bun in the nape of her neck

"Your armor" Jeremy smiles his eyes gleam with excitement as he hands Victoria her armor

"Thank you Jeremy" she starts putting it on "is everything ready? Where the army?"

"At the border as you instructed your majesty" Jeremy bows and Daniel helps her with the straps of her armor. She swats his hands away so he can out his own armor as well.

"My generals?" Daniel asks

"In position majesty" Jeremy says handing them their swords

"Lets go show little Briar Rose how weak a rose truly is" Daniel chuckles

"I'd like to pluck her petal by petal" Victoria says as they walk down the hallway towards their portal room

"And we had just gotten through to Audrey as well" Daniel shakes his head their armor making some noise down the empty corridor "such a shame" Victoria laughs and she pushes open the doors to the portal room. They step through the one marked north border and emerge at the front of her army. Her head of the military, Gustav, stands at the front of the line high on his horse. The army bows as Victoria walks forward and stands front and center. Her eye glow as the roots under her feet lift her up for all to see

"Soldiers!" She yells out, everyone is in perfect formation and silent as death, a promise for the army standing on the other side of the battle field their rose banners flying high, Victoria wants to see them torn in the mud.

"War has been declared on Vernelle! Will we allow this?" She asks

"No, my Queen!" Her soldiers yell back in unison

"Will you help me defend this land and our people from invaders who seek to destroy everything we've worked hard to build?!" They beat their shields in answer, they're light durable and metal, shaped after voodoo heads. Their eyes shine with gems that have explosive properties when hit.

"Soldiers at the ready!" Daniel yells standing beside his queen. The soldiers shuffle as they prepare their shield and weapons. Victoria gets down and approaches her head of the military. Daniel goes off to lead his own cavalry, his horse waiting and ready.
