5. Just one day

Yeri's POV

"I'm home" I heard Seulgi unnie so I quickly went out of my room.

"Unnie, where did you go? Did you eat already?" I asked her

"Yes, I already ate, they had a welcome party for me, how about you?"

"I'm done, I just bought chicken"

"Oh" I know this look in her eyes.

I have a feeling that she will eat again.

"I'm hungry, I'll eat again. Is there a beer?"

"I thought you already ate? Unnie stop eating too much" I said

She put all her things on the table.

"Yeri-yah I'm really hungry, hmm" she pouts

Did she never experience being full? She just eats.

"Arasseo! But why do you have so many folders?"

I look at the folders.

My eyes hurt.

How can they understand this? It's too boring to read!

"Ahh that? The paperworks is left for me"

"Really? Why is it so many?"

"My boss cleared her schedule for one week, so I will do all the work"

"Wah, that boss is really something!"

"Hsjsjndisksoalap" I didn't understand her, she was eating.

"Eat first unnie, I'll just go back to my room"

I saw her nod, and I left her in the kitchen.

Joohyun POV

I slowly open my eyes,

Where am I?

"Good thing you are awake" someone said, I sit properly and look around, I'm in a car, I am sitting in the passenger seat. I look at the driver. He is wearing a black jacket, a cap and a mask.

"Who are you?" He removed his mask and cap

0-0 Jackson?

"Jackson Wang" he smiles

"Why are you here? Where are we? Did you follow me? Are you the one who made me unconscious?"

He scratches his head.

"One questions please" he chuckled

"Tskk, why did you follow me?" I crossed my arm

"I am worried about you"

"I can save myself" I look outside

"Yah! If I don't follow you, you will be in great danger!"

"Then it will be my problem not yours!" I glare at him.

"Can you not be so stubborn?"

"Then can you stop being a dumb?"

Then we became silent..

"Where are we?" I ask

"Seoul"

0_0 Seoul???

"What!?"

"I'll bring you home"

"Bring me back to Daegu!"

"Why would I? It's for your safety, can you please listen to me just once?"

I don't like men sometimes! They just do what they want to do!

"Stop the car!"

"What?"

"I said stop the car!" I yelled.

He stopped the car and I immediately got out of his car.

I called a taxi and it stopped in front of me.

He held my arm. "Why are you doing this?!"

"Mind your own business, don't interfere with my business anymore, I'll be letting you pass this time, next time you do it, don't blame me for being such a cold person to you" I remove his hand and go inside the taxi.

I just let out a sight and close my eyes.

Seulgi's POV

"Good Morning" I greet them

Sooyoung suddenly approaches me, she looks troubled.

"Yah Seulgi! I thought Ms. Bae would be out for one week? It's just one day!"

One day? What is she saying?

"Huh? What are you talking about? She said she'll be out for one week"

"Then who is the person in her office?"

I approach slowly and peek at the window

0-0 what!? I thought she would be out for one week?

I rub my eyes and she is still there.

"I can't believe this" I mumbled

"I told ya!! I think she is just pranking us!" Sooyoung whines and stamps her feet. Wendy just tapped her back.

"Shhh! She will hear us! Go back to your seat! I need to work"

"Nyenye, she is really giving me chills" she whispered and went back to her seat.

I go to my desk.

I wasn't able to sit yet because she suddenly called me.

"Good morning Ms. Bae, I thought you would be out for one week?"

"So?? Reschedule everything" she coldly said. Nevermind about being cold, she is an ICE QUEEN.

"Yes Ms. Bae" she didn't even answer my question. I just left her office.

Joohyun's POV

"Ms. Bae"

"You're already here, Mr. Lee" I said and looked up, I know his voice, I can immediately say that it is him.

"How are you?"

"Just fine, thanks to Jackson my plan got destroyed" I fake a smile

"How could you go there alone?"

Did he just come here to scold me?

"Are you here to scold me?"

"Yes, what if something happens to you?"

"Then it's my problem"

They keep minding my business. Why can't they mind their own business?

"I made a promise to your father that I'll protect you! How can you go there?!" I slam the table

I really hate it when he starts to talk about my father.

"I know what I'm doing! So shut your mouth and don't talk about my father again!"

"You were that sweet and caring years ago Joo Hyun-ah, did you really get rid of it?"

Sweet?? Caring?? I was like that? I don't even know who I am now.

"That Joohyun you knew years ago is dead"

He just looks at me with mellow eyes and left.

What will I do now? Everything keeps getting messy. Will I really die soon?
