Julie and Luke (Julie and the Phantoms)

Chapter 3

I walked out with Luke behind me since he had to talk to me which I was kinda scared about. I looked down at the ground when I heard a voice behind us umm I mean me. I looked and it was Nick was standing there. I didn't know what Nick wanted but I did know he had a crush on me but I did too till I met Luke. Luke was a ghost I know but come on he's a cute ghost right?

"Oh hey Nick"

"Who were you just talking too?"

"Oh it was no one just myself" 

"Julie something seems off with him" Luke said to me 

"How?" I said forgetting Nick was right there 

"Sorry what?" Nick answered back stepping closer to me 

"Oh it was nothing sorry but I got to go Nick bye" I walked away with Luke following me

"Okay can we talk now Julie?" Luke was behind me as Nick was walking away from us 

"Yes" I turned around dramatically

"I need to tell you something and I don't know how I will tell you this because it kinda scares me since you know I'm a ghost and all"

"What do you need to tell me Luke? Please just tell me?"

"Julie I think I might have crush on you but I know I know I'm ghost. After the night I could feel you and you could feel me I think we could maybe have something special. We do have a special relationship you and I have already but I want more than friends type of thing. Yeah I'm talking away to much now" 

"Luke look you're a ghost and I'm alive like how could we make it work? I can't tell anyone about you or tell people I have a boyfriend. It would be hard me but I do like you a lot too" I cried a little when I said this to Luke because I saw he went from smiling to a frown. It made me sad
"Well at least think about it Julie?"

"I will Luke. Thank you for telling me this at least"

I felt so stupid for not telling him how much I liked him back but he's right he's a ghost and well I'm alive and well. I can daydream about Luke all day but us as a couple can't happen just not yet. I hope it can happen down the line at some point but we need to focus on our band together.
