A Tiny Hole In Spacetime

6 2 2

In starless nights
In storm and snow
When trees old bow
The world, it sighs

Then I'm afraid
My duvet tight
Must hide, can't fight
Enormous weight

Of classmates, mean
They're pointing grim
At who I am
At who I've been

Of monsters, well
It's just another
Word for others
Being hell

Of parents, never
Seen, no loving
Word, no holding
Tight, whenever

Nights, so black
And dangerous
So torturous
They make me lack

In confidence
So I must flee.

In such a night
You won't believe
But spacetime's tight
Around the world
And so, I saw
A little hole
A tiny rip
Of warmest glow
In darkest night
And I am small
I fit right in
So there I climbed
And watched out fine
That space and time
Not ripped apart
And they stayed whole
So there I went
Away from night
From time, from
Everlasting fright
To glow, to warmth
Eternally
To happiness
And joy and glee
On Earth I wasn't
Seen no more
