Togedemaru and Pikachu were playing on the floor, and suddenly, Togedemaru pushed Pikachu into what looked like a huge hamster wheel that was big enough to fit Pikachu. Pikachu began running, which looked like fun to (Name).

"Wow, that looks fun," (Name) noted, "I wish I could do that, too." She looked at Pikachu running really fast.

Sophocles took notice of (Name)'s curiosity. He stopped whatever he was talking about. "That's it! I know how to help you train!" Sophocles said.

"You do?" Jason and Rotom blinked in a confused manner.

"And I've got just the thing!"

"W-what...?"

The three went outside as Sophocles prepared something big- literally. The big thing was a replica of the wheel Pikachu was running in but way bigger- big enough to fit a very tall human.

"This is how you'll train!" Sophocles explained. "It should increase your stamina and speed by a bit, so it'll give you an advantage in battle! Get in! Bring out Rockruff and Rowlet, too!"

"All right!" (Name) agreed. "Rockruff, Rowlet, come on, let's go!"

"Togede!" Togedemaru jumped in the action.

"Looks like Togedemaru wants to do it, too," Jason noted.

"Nice!" (Name) cheered, "The more, the merrier!"

Sophocles places a sticker on each of their foreheads.

"What's this for?"

"It's to record your data," Sophocles explained, "Now, get in the wheel and start moving to the speed, 'kay?"

"Got it!" (Name) and the Pokemon went into the wheel and began walking at a slow speed. Rowlet was too slow, so it was really tumbling.

"So far, so good," Sophocles noted. "I'll increase the speed, got it?"

"Gotcha!" (Name) replied. (Name) and Pikachu began running as the other Pokemon couldn't catch up and tumbled off the wheel. They watched as the trainer and Pokemon remained steady.

"I'll increase it some more," Sophocles told her, receiving an "Okay" from (Name).

At that time, (Name) and Pikachu ran so fast, they were glowing. Not the healthy kind of glowing, but the actual light radiated off them glowing. Energy grew off them. They were going at maximum speed and not slowing down. The device began to heat up, making both of them go even faster.

"Huh?" Sophocles went blank. "They're-they're glowing... Is the device malfunctioning?!"

Suddenly, the wheel exploded, shooting a beam of light into the sky that apparently everyone saw. Even Tapu Koko.

"A-amazing!" Sophocles exclaimed.

"You should expect more rather than less from her," Jason sighed, "she could've gone faster... I remember that's kind of how we met Rhydon..."

"You didn't tell me how you met Rhydon," Rotom admitted, "how did you, anyway?"

"Well, after watching a Rhyhorn race, (Name) and I went looking for one. We spotted one, but it ran off. At that second, she raced after it, outrunning Rhyhorn and successfully capturing it."

"That's amazing! Updating data," Rotom stated. "Update complete!"

"That was incredible power, (Name)! You and Pikachu were able to outrun the fastest speed I put on the wheel! What happened there?" Sophocles asked.

"What? I thought you knew. Pikachu and I were just running," (Name) admitted. "But I totally want to do this again!"

Sophocles's parents came in a rush. "Is everything all right?"

"We've just made the greatest discovery ever!" Sophocles explained.

"Sorry, what?"

"All right, so," Jason began, "the powerful moves that are attack moves against Fairy Pokemon are Steel types and Poison types. Dark isn't very effective on them, so try to avoid it unless they're weak."

"Does that mean I have to catch a Poison type Pokemon?" (Name) asked.

"No, it means the Pokemon needs to know a Poison type move or Steel type," Jason answered. "However, I would recommend that you catch a Steel or Poison type to get a stab in your attacks. That way, it's more effective."

"What's a stab?"

"A stab is a boosting effect that happens if a Pokemon uses a move that is the same type with itself," Rotom explained. "Steel Pokemon using Steel type moves would be more effective than other Pokemon using Steel type moves, for example."

"Right, but it's effective either ways," Jason continued. "I'm worried about Rowlet, though."

"Why?"

"Rowlet's a Grass AND Flying type," Jason answered, "I know I'm supposed to help with Fairy Pokemon, but I'm also supposed to help Rowlet. Electric moves are super effective on Flying Pokemon."

"Oh."

"Exactly."

"Well, Pikachu knows Iron Tail," (Name) recalled. "And Rockruff knows Rock Throw. They should be super effective, right?"

"And I'm worried about Rowlet," Jason reminded.

"Oh, right."

"Electric isn't so much on Tapu Koko, either," Sophocles added. "So if you're planning to use Pikachu, you'd want to train harder to get stronger if you want effective hits."

"All right, so put power in Iron Tail, and work on Electric, got it," (Name) nodded. "Anything else?"

"Well, Rockruff is pretty strong, but you could all train some more to get ready," Jason suggested. "You're more physical rather than strategy, so you can use that."

"Great! Anything else?"

"That might be it..." Jason shrugged. "Let us review again."

"GURGH..."

"If you were to catch a Poison or Steel type, that would be an advantage, and you need to be as precise as you can be with the Z-move since you have only one shot at it," Jason reviewed. "I think you should save Pikachu for the last, since it's more of the main fighter..."

That went on for hours until (Name) remembered the tactics then forgot it all next morning.
