Pokemon the Series: Sun and Moon Adventures!

Lillie V.S. Team Rocket! First Battle!

"Hey, come back here!"

Lillie and Snowy ran. Team Rocket was catching up to them. "Snowy, use Powder Snow on the ground!" Lillie ordered as the white Vulpix froze the ground. Team Rocket slipped on the ice. That gave the two more time to run.

They ran, avoiding people as Team Rocket caught up with them. Lillie and Snowy took different routes, buying more time for them. Finally, the two were cornered.

Meanwhile...

Rowlet cooed as it flew a circle in a place. (Name), Jason, and Mallow followed and only saw a fruit. "Rowlet, that's a berry, not Lillie..." (Name) commented.

"Or Snowy for that matter," Jason and Mallow chorused.

Suddenly, they heard a scream. That scream... the owner of that voice was no other than Lillie. No doubt that she was in trouble. The three trainers and the Rotom Dex ran towards the source of the sound.

"Mareanie, go! Use Sludge Bomb!" James called out his Water-Poison type Pokemon. Instead of following her trainer's orders, Mareanie poisoned James, turning his skin all purple. After a moment, James snapped out of it and told Mareanie to use Sludge Bomb on the Vulpix.

"Ma-rea-nie!" Mareanie fired the chunks of poison at Vulpix.

"Snowy, use Powder Snow!" Lillie ordered. Vulpix blew a gust of icy and coldness to the attacks, freezing the sludges at  contact.

"Why don't you give up now, since there's nowhere to run?" Jessie mockingly suggested. Lillie was afraid that they'll take Snowy away from her. They really are bad people, like (Name) and Jason said.

"Use Sludge Bomb again!" Mareanie fired poison chunks at Vulpix, and this time, it hit. Snowy got blown away, literally, off the edge.

"SNOWY!" Lillie yelped as she jumped off the edge, catching Snowy in her arms.

"Rowlet, use Leafage to land them safely to the ground!" Suddenly, a wind of leaves came out of nowhere, blowing and softening the two's fall to the ground.

"Lillie!" (Name), Mallow, Rotom, and Jason exclaimed, "Snowy! Are you all right?"

"Yes, thanks to you guys," Lillie nodded. She hugged Snowy.

"Team Rocket," Jason scowled, "so you're here, too?"

"We were about to go when you brats came!" James growled. They jumped down and landed smoothly, which was something Lillie couldn't have done. Mimikyu's eyes lit up. It was totally ready to fight now.

"Wait, let us take care of this!" Lillie exclaimed. "Snowy! Use Powder Snow!" The Vulpix landed down and let out a gust of ice and snow, freezing the Team Rocket members.

Then out of nowhere, Bewear grabbed the Team Rocket trio and raced back to its cave. "We're blasting off again..."

Snowy jumped to Lillie, who wasn't even afraid to hug it. (Name)'s, Mallow's, and Jason's eyes lit in satisfaction. "Lillie, you're touching Snowy!" (Name) blurted out.

Lillie realized that her friend was right. "How does it feel?" Jason asked with Mallow.

"It... It feels great!" Lillie admitted, embracing Snowy. Rowlet flew down with Lillie's hat. Apparently, it sat at the top of a building when they were battling. "Thanks, Rowlet."

"You came over your fear," Jason stated, "well, I mean, we don't know that for sure, but yeah, at least with your Vulpix."

"That battle... It was amazing!" Mallow praised Lillie. "That's your first battle, too!"

And Team Rocket? Back in the cave, Bewear was coming back with more berries. When Jessie came forth to Bewear, she tried to keep her body straight. She handed Bewear the bag of sweets. "For you," Jessie told Bewear, "as a token of gratitude."

"So that's why Jessie bought those," James noted.

"That's our Jessie," Mewoth stated, "she's got a big heart."

Bewear looked at the sweets bag. It stopped for a moment before crushing Jessie into bone-breaking hug. Jessie yelped, dropping the bag. "Bewear must be happy," Meowth and James concluded. Jessie could feel the love, too, though she was running out of air. Mimikyu found its way to the sweets and feasted on them.

The next day at school, Lillie entered the classroom, hugging Vulpix. Lana, Sophocles, and Kiawe were satisfied.

"Lillie!" Lana exclaimed. "You're touching a Pokemon!"

"And not freaking out," Sophocles added.

"That's great!" Kiawe cheered.

"It was all thanks to everyone!" Lillie thanked them. She placed Snowy on the floor, who played with the other Pokemon, much to the other's satisfaction. They started playing together.

"Looks like the harsher ice has started to melt," Jason noted, "and the ice of friendship bonds has started to freeze."

Togedemaru was rolling around recklessly. It stopped when

When it bumped into Lillie,

who screamed

in terror.

"But she's not able to touch all Pokemon yet," (Name) noted, sweatdropping with everyone else.

"I'm sure that'll change soon enough!" Mallow brushed it off. "This is good for now."

"You're right!" Lillie exclaimed, hugging Snowy.
