TURN OFF & ON

Luckily I happend to have handkerchief in my pocket enough to cover my nose, to at least lessen the smoke I can possibly intake. Covering my nose with my left hand, I manage to carry this heavy glass container with just my right hand.

Forths friend suddenly stopped talking as he notice me, blowing the smoke out of his mouth on his side.

"Beam."
      He said in a surprised seeing me as he turned around.

But what surprised me was, he grab the cigarette stick from the hand of his friend and told him to stop blowing smokes as he throw the cigarette on the floor and stepped on it.

"Do you need something, Beam?" He then asked turning back his attention to me.
     

"No not really, mom just asked me to bring this lasagna." I said and that he eyed at the food that I'm holding.

"Ohh... Thank you."
     He exclaimed as he grab the container, probably noticing my struggles.

"Oh by the way this is my friend Laem, Dude this is Beam." He introduced us "By the way sorry for him smoking." He added and I just nod.

"Oh so you are Beam, Nice to meet you I'm Laem. Sorry about earlier, Actually we are just talking about this dude quitting to smoke."

"I—uhmm, don't need to be sorry." I told him.

"So, Do you want to go inside our house first?" For asked, to which I decide to decline "Ermm—No thanks , I think I should go back now. I still need to help mom with stuffs." I reason it out, not wanting to disturb his time with his friend.

"Sure, Can I visit later?" He then asked.

"Yeah sure."  I said and bid my good bye to them before going back home.

FORTH

"Now I know why you have fall in love with him at the first sight." Laem voiced out as soon as Beam entered back to their house.

"Huh?"

"He is indeed cute, If I'm single I may be falling over him too." He stated.

"Don't even dare or our 7 years of friendship will over." I tell him, half kidding but more on truth.

"I'm just joking chill, I'm loyal to my boyfriend you know, Such a possessive husband."

"I will not deny my possessiveness specially my soon to be wife is a goddess." I proudly stated, " Anyway I think I should go inside now, got to bring this food that my mother-in-law made. "

"Mother in law my ass!!" He cuss. "But seriously I wish you both good luck when both of you become official." He said, and I know what he mean by that, "That is not a problem, both of our moms are friends." I assure him, though I'm not that sure myself.

"Anyways see you."
     And that I went inside the house.

"Mom." I called, "Auntie Joy give us some Zucchini lasagna."

"Oh really, Wow it looks delish. Why didn't she come here inside for a minute?" Mom asked, as she take the container of food.

"It was Beam who actually brings it here, but he said auntie is the one who cook this."

"Oh, Beam.." She said and I saw her nod, "Then let's eat this first."
