Darkest Hour

23 5 6

In the darkest hour when the moon shines,
The shadows place weight on my mind.

Pulling through alone
Has never felt so cold... heartache shown.

Not a cricket chirps under my window,
Only the sound of my cries in my pillow.

The tears falling on my hands,
Drip drip.

Corners of my heart chipped,-
Hands soaked, made an ocean for seven ships.

Emotional battle, hardest fight.
Searching in my head and heart for a glimmer of light.

In the darkest hour,
Emotions are heightened,

Tastes so sour,
But when the sun rises, my sorrow may be lightened...
