Far From Life

I close my eyes trying to forget reality isn't fair,
That no one from heartache is spared.
But I got you who lights a way,
I look at you and everything grey begins to fade.
Sweetly walking hand in hand,
Forever alive, like children running in candy land.

Where the sky's full of colors,
And there's no growing older,
Is a place far from life,
Sweet getaway, you're everything right.
Bubbles and balloons fly,
Ferris wheel with cool breeze stand high,
Our love is like this kite,
Fly high, you're the sunshine.

To where there is no rain,
All happiness aboard the love train.
We live forever in each other's eyes,
Nothing keeps up apart, not once in our time.
We don't have a thing chasing us away,
World of our youth will never fade.

Close my eyes and lead me blind,
When I did, it was you I came to find.
You take me to a place far from life,
Where it's you and me with everything in line.
We never worry about what's left of time.
I open my eyes to see reality,
But I remember nothing else matters unless you're here with me.
