Look into my tearful eyes,
I know you can see deep inside,
And when I stare back,
I feel the trust I lack.
I wish I could love you,
But if you hurt me, I'll see the truth.
The world can be so painful,
Nut I always feel if I hide away it will be disgraceful.
Go ahead and say your apology,
But all I wanted was your love and honesty.
I heard love is such a beautiful thing,
But I haven't found that "love" that's made my heart sing, so I only feel the betrayals sting.
