Epilogue: So it is Happily Ever After?

Start from the beginning

"Is stupid your aesthetic too?" He said, popping another fry in his mouth.

"I can't chose that aesthetic. That's already yours and I'm not a copy cat."

Callum let out a laugh and leaned his head back slightly. "You're wearing my hoodie." He said before adding, "Copy cat."

My face heated up and I simply turned away annoyed to hide it. "Yeah and you're wearing fucking crocs so-" my voice was cut off by a feminine voice and Callum almost fell out of his seat.

"Well, I surely haven't missed the bickering." His sister, who looked majorly different from the last time I saw her, was holding hands with a guy and staring down at us as if we were from a different universe.

Callum almost seemed like he wanted to bow, the fucking moron. Maybe shake their hands.

"Stupid. Hug her." I grumbled and Callum didn't even seem to hear me as he wrapped his arms around his sister and she instantly squeezed back just as tightly.

After he pulled away, a smile on his face he gave her a solid wack on the head. "I almost passed kidney stones from the stress you fucking lunatic!" He said, watching his sister rub the back of his head. Then he looked at the guy she was holding hands with and narrowed his eyes. "What's your name?"

I laughed. Classic big brother mode kicking in right there.

"Shawn. Shawn-"

"Listen Shawn. Why the fuck were you guys late." Callum ran a hand through his hair and looked at Shawn who was considerably shorter than him.

"Her car broke down."

Callum stared at Shawn for a moment before shrugging. "Uh-Huh." Was all he said before turning back to his sister.

His sister was staring at him with glossy eyes and Callum's scary demeanor instantly changed to a soft smile.

"Fucking hell." His sister cursed, wiping her eyes. "I didn't want to cry."

Callum shrugged. "Sucks to suck. Give me another hug."

•••

"Well that was an experience." I said, my throat so strained from talking that it was croaking.

Callum had a giant ass grin on his face.

Of course his sister didn't care who Callum liked. She and Callum both simply cared that they had eachother back. And now Callum was holding my hand with a little bit more enthusiasm than before as we drove back to my house.

"Yes. Yes it was."

We'd been inside Scotty's for a solid six hours and the staff were practically begging us to leave after awhile.

Callum and I both talked for hours on end and eventually Callum decided he liked Shawn. Although he didn't like the googoo eyes he gave his sister.

Which I then had to remind him that they're dating and that was a common thing for people to do while dating.

Despite that. Everything worked out great. I got happy Callum back, Callum got his sisters support and he even began to like his sisters boyfriend.

If Callum was happy. Then so was I.

It didn't take us long to get home and we were simply chilling and watching movies when it happened.

It started with Callum pecking my lips as he got up to use the bathroom.

Then I pecked his lips when he got back.

Of course by this point. I was already cringing majorly at the corniness and Callum seemed to notice because he chuckled when I pulled away.

Maybe he fully kissed me because he wanted to, maybe he did it to take away the embarrassment, I'm not sure.

But we kissed, which is normal. Ya know, it's the usual, dating people kissing.

Life is funny like that, isn't it? Months ago, the thought of kissing Callum would've made me think 'maybe in a different life' but now look, I'm in a different life.

And then for the first time we were full ass making out. I'm not going to go into detail, because talking about it in this manner is cringy. But eventually he started to kiss my neck and me, being the ticklish boy that I am, Started laughing, I'm talking fucking lunatic laughing... which made Callum laugh.

And after awhile he stopped kissing me just because we both couldn't stop laughing.

And yeah, go ahead and throw us in a wattpad book and call us 'the main characters' but having someone to laugh with after such a moment felt amazing.

We were both laughing silently, him slightly over me, head bowed as we practically grew abs from the laughter. We didn't know what was so funny. But it was, because by the time we both stopped laughing we were gasping for air.

Callum let out little spurts of laughter as he laid next to me on his back and I was still struggling to calm down.

He grabbed my hand and said in the most Callum way, "You're stupid."

"At least I have a brain."

And then we started bickering.
