Happiest memory

Today was mine and Harry's first lesson with Remus in how to protect our selves form a dementor and I was still pisses of at Harry and oh boy does he know it . When ever we both walk in a group I stand next to Ron instead of Harry . When we sit in a table I'm either next to Mione or Ron or sometimes I sit with Ginny and her friends. Harry has apologised to me and I've expected it but I'm still mad at him.

Anyway back to the lesson

" are you sure about his Harry . Cassie this is a very advanced magic well beyond the ordinary wizarding level"

" I'm sure" Harry's says and I just nodded my head

" well everything is prepared the spell I'm going to teach you is the patronus charm did you ever hear of it ?"

Harry shakes his head but I say

" yes a patronus is a positive force for the wizard or witch who conjures one it works like a shield , with the dementor feeding on it rather that him or her but in order for it to work you need to think of a memory, a very happy memory a powerful memory"

"Very good Cassie , I guess you did your research"

" yes and mione talks in her sleep"

" okay now both of you close your eyes , concentrate , explore your pass ." Remus Said and I thought of a memory of when i was 7 and it was before Christmas and I got covered in wrapping paper trying to wrap Christmas with my dad , I was stubborn and wanted to do it my self . Dad tried to help me but I just stuck a sheet of wrapping paper on his face and when he pulled it off one oh his eyebrows came off as well . Aunt Minnie made fun of him for weeks because of it

" then speak the incantation expecto Patronum" Remus Said

Harry and I repeated what he said

" very good, now who wants to go first" and I put my hand up

" okay Cassie wand at the ready"

He opend the chest and a dementor comes out and I think of the memory and lift my wand up

" expecto Patronum"

A white/blue light came out but it wasn't much and I ended up collapsing.

When I came to Remus gave me some chocolate

" I almost did it , can I try again" I said getting up already , as I said I'm a stubborn person

" quite eager aren't you , okay the memory you thought of before was powerful but not powerful enough so think of another on" Remus Said and I did

Harry and I just came out of class and we had free period.

" so Harry where do you want to go" I asked looking up at him

" I don't know it's my first year here remember your the one who knows places so you tell me" Harry smiles at me with a goofy grin

" oh I know we can go to the astronomy tower it's my favourite place to go" I Said and grabbed his hand and we went to the tower. We sat on the edge looking out at the seen before us

" wow this place is amazing" Harry said beside me

" yeah . When ever I was upset or anything my dad would take me here , it was are way to get away from the world we would just sit up here and look out at the view before us. He tell me stories of Hogwarts and I got annoyed because even though I was here I wasn't experiencing Hogwarts. And this place reminds me so much of my dad , I also come here when he was busy" I said looking at Harry

" so the astronomy tower reminds you that your dad won't ever leave you"

" yeah basically"

" well it will mean something more now"Harry said and I looked at him with a raised eyebrow

" what do you mean"

" it will also remind you that I will never leave you"

I raised my wand again and point it at the dementor

"expecto Patronum" and this time a bright white/blue light shot out and pushed the dementor back into the box

" well done Cassie , well done , now Harry your turn"
