It's Been A While

I'm putting my headphones on.

Listening to my favorite song.

But I find myself thinking of you.

It's been a long while.

But I can still see that smile.

Remember, your eyes that shine so bright.

Being in your arms made everything alright.

Your deep voice singing those songs.

Strumming that guitar.

Wherever you are, your still a part of me.

I close my eyes and still see you.

Seems like just yesterday you were laying next to me.

People say what's meant to be will be.

But if that's the case why are you gone?

It's been a long while.

But I can still see that smile.

Life keeps rearranging.

But one thing that stays the same is my love for you.

I'm laying here alone.

I'm putting my headphones on.

Listening to my favorite song.

It all seems so wrong since you been gone.

You just keep running through my mind.

All those times you made me smile.

The things that only you can do.

I'm missing you like the moon misses the stars.

Reminiscing about all those memories of ours.

It's been a long while.

But I still see that smile.
