At First Sight

She has two sides one of beauty.

One as a creature of the night.

The full moon dawns casting it's light.

In the forest she fights as the wolf inside her calls.

Falling to the ground she began to turn.

Her eyes a Sapphire blue.

As skin rips away and bones bend her cries carry into the silent night.

Her transformation done.

The large black wolf she has become runs through the night.

Her primal need to feed at it's height.

Prowling through damp forest thick with trees.

Lifting her head catching something in the breeze.

She hauntingly bays at the alabaster moon.

Sprinting to the prey she will soon find.

She stops her eyes mesmerized by the sight of another wolf.

He is quite large with shimmering grey fur and amber eyes.

Only a few feet lie between them.

He stands near lips curled in dominance showing no fear.

She leers at him letting out a low growl.

He gazes at her, circling, then howls.

She thought she was the only one of her kind.

Hiding it from all she knew for such a long time.

She let's out a soft whine and cautiously walks near him.

They run together through the moonlit night.

A bond has begun to form.

As the sun casts its first rays, they lay fingers entwined.

Gazing in each other's eyes.

Their attraction and connection so strong.

Both longing for the moment to never end.

They agree to met again in the forest as night falls.

The promise of love calls to them.

Two lost souls that meet and become one.

A sweet tale of romance that's just begun.
