Life surprises us sometimes.
And you find someone that you quickly grow near to.
You seem to connect in every way.
They stay on your mind as you go through your day.
Loving everything about the way they are.
They just shine in your life like the brightest star.
When you whisper their name, it's like a melody on your lips.
Their warmth like a perpetual embrace.
The mere thought of them has your heart racing.
Perhaps one day to gaze into their eyes in the night.
Tracing the outline of their face.
Memorizing every moment with touch.
That time of day when it would be only us.
Special moments to hold so dear.
Holding them near to gaze at the stars.
Reading poetry and sipping tea.
Eternal bliss this shall be.
