The next morning Ava gets up, gets the kids ready, gets them out the door. She gets Lance up then gets ready for her appointment. She then heads upstairs to wake Jason up.
Ava- "Jason..."
She shakes him a little.
Ava- "Jason..."
She shakes him.
Jason- "Hmph.."
Ava- "If you want to go with me, you need to get up."
He lifts his head off the bed.
Jason- "You want me to go?"
Ava- "Of course I do."
He sits up and kisses her.
Jason- "Sorry about the morning breath."
Ava laughs.
Ava- "Get dressed and do not kiss me again."
Jason- "We wouldn't make it to the appointment."
Ava- "Exactly."
He gets up and gets ready. Ava kisses Lance and Jason hugs him before they leave. They make it the office Ava has been taking to the back; the doctor comes in.
Dr. Truner- "Hello, Ms. Samson. How are you?"
Ava- "Hello. I am not happy at the moment. Why am I seeing you today? I thought I would be seeing a PA."
Dr. Truner- "If you remember, I did Jackson's first visit too."
Ava- "I do."
Dr. Truner- "Do you remember why?"
Ava- "Honestly, no."
Dr. Truner- "Multiples Ava. You naturally have multiples."
Ava- "Oh."
Dr. Truner- "I like to check the first appointment."
Ava- "I know."
Dr. Truner- "Is Lance with you?"
Ava- "Not today."
Ava says with an attitude.
Dr. Truner- "No one came with you?"
Ava- "Someone did come with me."
Dr. Truner- "Who?"
Ava- "My boyfriend, Jason."
Dr. Truner- "Why is he not back here with you?"
Ava- "The nurse thought he should wait outside."
Dr. Truner- "Why on earth would she do that?"
Ava- "The thing is I am still married to Lance. Jason is my boyfriend. He is also the father of this baby."
Dr. Truner- "We have couples going through divorces all the time."
