suspect the unsuspected,
expect the unexpected
when the brightest stars turn to darker shades
and camouflage has taken its place
beware; behold; observe;
cause this is where it all begins
the lies of the century
painted so beautifully
you want to jump in them
and you'd believe what you see
ignoring the obvious alarm that rings in your head
cause that is the easiest way indeed
to escape reality and experience darkness
the same darkness that'd engulf you in its madness.
you'd not know anymore
when the mayhem of chaos ruins your life
and the colours of sky finally turns to greys.

A/N: While I was reading the book "7 Crows" by Maddy, I found this one comment saying suspect the unsuspected and the author replied by expect the unexpected.
