"Cali..." I turned around slowly to see his face. What is he doing here?
"Huy, bakit ka umalis sa game mo? Hindi pa tapos 'yun, ha?" I asked Liam as he came running towards me. He's sweating and he can't even breathe sa pagtakbo. "Huy."
"Cal-" he paused for a while para makahinga at makapagsalita ng ayos. "Your Kuya Alex called, you left your phone sa gym, I think it's emergency kasi he keeps on ringing it. Answer it muna." I was shocked and grabbed my phone from his hand.
"Oh- thank you, Liam. Balik ka na sa game mo, I can handle this." He shook his head and said he'll stay with me.
"No, it's okay. Baka emergency 'yan, maybe you need a ride. Answer it." I picked up the call and tried to listen carefully about what he's saying.
"Is everything okay, Cali?" Liam asked with so much concern. I nodded and gave him a hand signal to keep quiet and that everything's fine.
The call ended and I told Liam not to worry. "Wala 'yun, he just told me that they'll be out of town with his siblings to visit their Mother so sabi niya mag-isa muna ako sa bahay." I gave him a sad expression.
"Hala, you're home alone?" he asked me seriously. I nodded and sighed deeply.
"Then let's just go out of town. Tutal, weekend naman na maybe we can go there later tonight tapos let's just leave Sunday afternoon. What do you think?" he suggested.
Naalala ko na uuwi sila Gab this weekend so might as well invite them and ipapakilala ko na si Liam personally. I sent a message sa group chat namin nila Gab to invite them this weekend. They replied immediately and said they are already on their way to Tagaytay. I informed Liam and he seems happy about it.
