"Jay! Tawag ka nila Kai, may transferee daw tayo this school year!" salubong sa 'kin ni Neil habang nakain ng bread roll na binili galing canteen.
"Wala ako pakealam." I said and flipped my book to see the next page.
I peeped through the principal's office to check if there's really a transferee. And there, I saw her cute and charming face. Pucha, ang cute. They were about to go outside when I started walking faster to enter the classroom in time. Papakilala na 'yun for sure.
"Single or Taken?" my classmate asked, her eyes widened after she heard it. I instantly laughed at her reaction. Parang nakakita ng multo amp. Cute mo, iuuwi na kita eh.
I didn't bother to approach her kasi baka isipin masyado along naghahabol or flirty, tsaka nasa school kami, we're here to study. With matching landi, too.
A week passed by and the cute girl is still not coming to school. Ano kayang nangyari doon?
"Ma'am, lumipat na po ba ulit young transferee?" I asked our adviser.
"No, she was hospitalized and still recovering. Baka bukas pumasok na 'yun." our adviser said while she's preparing for her next class.
I'm not in the mood to go to school today. Baka wala namang gagawin, might as well just watch Netflix and chill. I was setting up my laptop when my phone buzzed. I checked and it was a message from our adviser, sa group chat naming.
"Cali, are you coming to school today?" that's what our teacher said. I grabbed my towel and went inside the bathroom while waiting for her reply. Baka pumasok eh, mas mabuti na ready tayo.
I saw her typing.
"Yes po, Ma'am." YES! I exclaimed within myself. Eto ang mga rason kung bakit ako napapapasok sa school. I took a bath and prepared for school. Tingin muna sa salamin kung pogi pa.
